you don't need a custom ROM. Root the phone and download TetherNet (you won't find it on play store)

Raya Electronic Store told me the panel would need to be changed, and since it's a Redmi 7A, it's better I just get a new phone instead.

Some regions have gotten 12.5 based on Android 11. I don't know what your thinking is based on.

really i was expecting 12.5 then boom i saw 12.0.16 yesterday, one Indian guy was telling redmi 9t wont get 12.5 dat it will continue in the sequence 12.0.15........

Redmi 9t, from 12.0.11 to 12.0.16, 0.15 was skipped for me. I just updated, everything is fine

Hello,

I've got a Redmi 7A that I use sparingly and I just realised that it no longer reads the sim card. It recognises the network provider under 'Sìm Cards and Mobile Networks' but it does not show the network bars. Meanwhile this sim works well on other phones.

I've done a factory reset to no avail.

Assistance needed.
you may just end up abandoning the phone
