The level of my A/C is usually high, even when it affects me, I still ignore, just to satisfy riders. My second rider told me to put it off, that my car is too cold.
I don't think the A/c is the prob, but thanks for your advice.

If you are very sure of the above....just be yourself and offer the best service you can without enslaving your dignity....your ratings will surely improve....card trips has a high differential, so ensure you don't ignore too much of card trips.

Don't worry bro. It'll definitely come back up. Some people will be intimidated by your car and charisma. I get that alot too. When I'm on bolt I don't say I own my car. I tell them I got it on rent, so they pity me cos they feel I'm beneath them, but on Uber, I'm myself, plus Uber's ratings system is transparent. Your car will be appreciated by Uber riders than bolt riders. These days I don't care about the bolt ratings. You need to also look out for red flags from daughters of jazebel so as to maintain a good star rating
Very true. It's one of the things I appreciate about uber. Unfortunately tho, I don't need appreciation. I need money.

I remember in January. A man from the abroad kept appreciating car from when I picked him up at IMAX, till we got to Richmond. At the end, he told me he tipped me. I thanked and kept appreciating him till I checked the tip and saw #80 naira.. Eighty fucking_ naira.

I really don't speak at first. I wait for them to start it. The only thing I tell them at first, is about connecting their phone to the android via Bluetooth, if they want to play their music. If they say they are fine, I usually just play gospel or radio.
Nothing to be worried about, except:

1. Make money
2. Making money
3. Making sure that you're making money
4. Read 1,2,3 again.

I don't ignore card trips. I usually accept it, so as for bolt to take their charge from it, instead of transferring

Thanks chief wink you're doing well. I no dey kill myself for the job. I dey do the one wey my power reach. I make about 13k daily after all deductions and I think it's fair. I don't start so early like 5, and I don't close late like 11 or 12. I start 7/8 and close 8/9.

I don't even work on Sundays. I'm a staunch Catholic

The problem is the volume of your AC...sounds funny ABI?.....start putting your AC to almost maximum for one week, report how far ....

Check below......it was 4.5 last week
You are actually right, most drivers insist on not allowing their AC go beyond 2 and if you ask them they say it will consume more fuel,

I see most drivers turn off their AC at pick up points, me usually leave my AC on and most of them enter and say 'oga please turn off the AC.'
That's if your AC is motuary standard ooo, I also do move like Jack Bauer when leaving your street so they tell me 'Oga small small ooo'.
That way they won't disturb with AC wahala again or tell you to move faster that they are late for work or stuffs like that.
Lol, everything na brain.
According to our celebrity driver I am mischievous.

I drive an ugly looking nissan sentra 05 on this job. My rating is. 5.0
Why?
Just go with each riders flow.
Some want to form boss, you self form boss
Some want to be friendly, you self be friendly. But there is always a limit!

Know your limits and your rating shall come back up.

Gracias

I use a Toyota Camry 08 for this job, bolt precisely. It has android screen....not the normal muscle front.

I used to be on 4.7* rating, but today I saw 4.5*

I usually call rider first. I usually greet first when they enter. I even carry their loads myself and put in the trunk. If it's about driving carefully, I am sure I do. Even before this hustle, when there was no car, if I go out with friends, they usually prefer I drive, even when they all can drive. Even my mom commends my driving skills. So what could be the problem? I usually dress well. Some of my clothes are pretty expensive......sneakers, wristwatches, cologne. Could it be that they see my car and dressing as too big for the job or what? I don't understand the reason for the drop in rating? Could it be that I communicate in clean oral English. I speak very well.
What exactly could be the problem?

There's this bolt driver I met around pharmcity Lekki. He said he does not carry loads o, that he opens the trunk for them. His rating is about 4.9*

Dont change anything you're doing... It will regulate itself. To add, don't speak unless spoken to.

As long as bolt is concerned, even if you drive a 2021 Rolls Royce, you can't maintain 5.00.

I recall back then reading a negative comment on uber, that I was rather quiet during the trip.. so she wanted me to be her mc basket-mouth. If you politely tell a rider you can not wait that long and he/she should order another cab, some will automatically dash you 1 star. Tell a rider you can not enter their gated apartment, at night, they give you this look, like other drivers do, so what is do special about you... the rating loading for you will surely not be 5 stars.

I have contacted the person that will rectify it but he is asleep now, go and sleep too. Before you wake up he would have rectified it.
You have to be connected to drive at night.

If they leave some of you, you will drive for 22 hrs a day

98.1 is similar to 97.3. Pure old skool and classical music. I listen to them a lot.

Bros don’t believe whatever those guys tell you…

One egbon for area back then used to be veteran in bolt and always do saka coupled with owning bolt Uber don blocked him.

Na so egbon told me one time that see I hate card trip oh I go tell rider say make we run am offline or I no go. Haha how? Baba was the only person I ever meet to be owning bolt 18k+ but he later told me bolt blocked him cos he was requesting offlines.

Saw him last night around farmcity Baba said guy long time na InDriver all of us Dey do here till tommorow morning. I laugh and said to him chief congratulations oh.

So point is that Ant or no ant those guys are crazy and heavily risking their lives turn on your inDriver app by 1am request them with 800naira they go still go carry you. Imagine police should arrest person for 800naira trip is it not madness?

To the guy that his rating is 4.5 kindly find your family member to re….t y.. and rate y.. 5stars continue your work but abeg not everybody you go com down help carry load. Majority of new riders don’t know how to rate especially the older ones. They will start counting the ratings from 1-5 and before them get to 3 the app will closed automatically.

Na small small you’ll gather much more experience bro.

You can't get rides by that time of day on uber or bolt. System shut down. Indriver is your best bet if you want to move Lagos round the clock.

Thanks. The last lady I picked today from Berger to ikeja really enjoyed our discussion. I even allowed her play her choice of songs by connecting her phone to my android via Bluetooth. Her money was 1800. She gave me 2k and told me to keep the change. She said she enjoyed the ride and A/c. Immediately I dropped her, the rating came to 4.5*

I really don't understand it.

If u often discuss with your Riders limit it, if u must, then make sure u don't disagree with them...anything they say is correct. Always agree...U r APC if u r sure the Rider is APC and PDP if u r sure the Rider is PDP. Man U fan and Chelsea and Arsenal...Just an illustration. Ur opposite opinion will make them uncomfortable.

I think football issues don't bring bad blood as such.

I actually politely troll drivers that are of clubs I dislike, but it has to be politely sha.

As for politics, you're right.

I remember a day I carried a military guy

Rider: What do you think about Buhari?

Me:..errmm *scratches head*

Rider: That man is an eediot

Me: Yeah, that's the exact word to describe him
