Hello Romoke Please go do an upfront Medical, that is if your previous medicals is over a year.. After doing your medicals, you will be given a slip at the clinic, make sure you submit this slip to IRCC through a webform or email.. Find below the list of IRCC approved Medical centers.. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx IOM is 46K Qlife is 40k (with the exception of a change in the Price) Peace Romoke1995: 2 Likes |

Good evening everyone, I’ve been seeing ppr this week congratulations to you all and to those still expecting ppr I hope u all get. Sorry I saw a post online of CBN approving personal travel allowance (PTA) for student traveling abroad I’ve been trying to get the hang of it? Like what are the advantages of it in “ Layman’s terms” . Please I’ve not applied for SP but hopefully come January, I’d apply as almost everything is in place now. I’d just like to know the advantages of it. Sorry In advance if this might be an insensitive question in any way to anyone. |

Bosede24:I’m not a guru here oh but using a M.sc to apply for a post grad certificate course shows no “CAREER PROGRESSION” in the applicants defence while applying for a Study permit and could raise a red flag by the VO. According to posts I’ve read here. 1 Like |

Per CBN Guidelines, PTA sales are for travellers with confirmed RETURN TICKETS. However, some students elect to purchase ONE-WAY tickets thus disqualifying them from the privilege of buying PTA at the CBN rate. However it appears with this latest approval from CBN, student travellers with One-way tickets can now enjoy the PTA purchase from banks at these rates. It is a win for any student who elects to buy one-way tickets to Canada. Oviebright: |

Hi, please how can I contact my MP? My school is in Newfoundland Labrador. Please can I get an explanation of how I can find his contact details? Thanks! I am taking risk to reply before them delete me. I just feel I should input. I know someone from my school that got bvl for two weeks and counting and no PPR yet. He is worried as you are as well so I told him to email the mp (member of parliament). Kindly find the response from his mp here. You can do same as this made him worry less or wait till next week . At least it will help know if everything is going on well with your app pending PPR . I’m sure PPR will be massive.[/quote] |

Sharing a link might be an offense . You can browse mp in Newfoundland Labrador Canada and you will see about seven . You can email all of them since you don’t know who will reply . Opsy14: |

STRICK00: For everyone mailing me about this, 1. I don’t have any “connect or plug” in the bank, you don’t need any connect. Just go there and explain what you want to do and you’d be guided on how to do it. Whole process took about 2 weeks, the money was sent in thursday and it’s scheduled to arrive in my account on monday at latest |

Hastykate: There is no need to worry cus nothing has happened yet, although it's normal for you get worried but don't mind ircc , dey are good in delaying ppls applications but still it's not their fault cus dey usually have tons of apps to attend to. Since you've forwarded the new LOA to them,I'm sure they must have used it to update your profile. As of early this month, I've seen someone that got passport request without doing medical , this is someone who applied since February,so use this to keep hopes alive cus it's not over until it's over. So relax ok and don't get yourself worked up bcus of this, although I know the waiting is killing and I understand you must have emailed ircc couple of times to enquire about your application status right. Anyways just wait till next month ending, if by then you haven't heard from ircc then I suggest you go and order your GCMS note. This way you will get to see first hand , the direction your app is heading, wether it's heading towards approval or not. But if you don't want to order the notes, you can still leave it and keep hoping and praying. I was just suggesting the Gcms note , that way you will get to have peace of mind by knowing your app status 3 Likes |

Hastykate: First of, if you've come of age, make sure you submitted your own personal bank statement together with other documents. Now in this aspect, you don't need to have thousands of naira in it Noo,just try and have reasonable amount of money in the account that has a source it was raised. Bcus some VOs will be expecting that from you, they just want to be sure you have your own personal savings just incase if there is a breakdown of relationship with Sponsor along the line. That being said, even with that 9.8mill you still stand a chance of getting approval, I've equally seen someone who submitted her study visa with 5mill as closing balance and yet the person visa was approved. So just make sure your sponsor, has strong economic ties with good source of income 1 Like |
