Gov. Ganduje’s Son Rejects to Work in CBN or NNPC, Chooses Hisbah Police

There is confusion in the first family of Kano State as the son of the governor insist on becoming a commander of the Hisbah police as against the preference of his father for him to work in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) or Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

The governor’s son, Muhammad Abdullahi Ganduje, recently graduated from the prestigious Regents University, London with a BA (Hons) in Global Management (Enterprise & Innovation). Before jetting out to London on Tuesday for the graduation ceremony, our source said Gov. Ganduje had already secured juicy posts for Muhammad at the CBN and NNPC. YeyeNews.com correspondent learned that the arrangement was for Muhammad to choose and resume in either the CBN or NNPC immediately on his return to Nigeria.

I didn't forget my root. I wasn't born in Igbo land. Igbo wasn't taught at my school. My parents tried and taught me Igbo. i can speak fluently, know Igbo culture. Does that make less Igbo? My grandfather and others that came before him never knew how to write or read Igbo. They spoke it and that's what I am doing

Buh why are most northern elite wards always so narrow minded in their choice of career? Must they always work in a government establishment? What happened seeking employment in reputable private establishment? learn the ropes of the corporate world and perhaps startup a personal interest within a few years?

At least that's what i would do if i had the type of network some of these guys have. Once people see you are highly skilled and experienced in certain fields they would be willing to invest in you. That is the way this country can grow, not to sit down to one yeye CBN or NNPC job, wasted years and talents, tufia

If Nigeria is a country, the bolded would have started a riot in certain sections of the country. Most Nigerians with better grades are still languishing on dusty streets of Nigeria without a job.
