chatinent: Where do you want to see 250k flat in lagos? Except its ikorodu or badagry. 400k will just get by in this economy for a family or some single guys. If you work in an industry where alot of emphasis is placed on carriage, dressing and knowledge e.g consultancy, thise expenses are quite valid except may be dstv of 9500 5 Likes 1 Share |

Ashirioluwa: Makes sense. Lagos is overrated, abeg. An elder friend I know earns ₦1.3m somewhere in Lagos. He couldn't beat the transportation thing. He had to take a loan to buy an SUV of ₦3.9m...although he has paid the loan completely. Another factor came up; traffic congestion. Lagos no just easy. |

AIIyIic: I've used it for up to a year now without issues. I live in a two bedroom house, it powers a socket in each room plus bulbs and fans. Same in the sitting room. It doesn't power my freezer or fridge though it can power it but the energy consumption is off the roof. I never use more than 15% of the energy at a time though. I only power a room at a time. And I have a rechargeable fan that the inverter can also power and a blender. It doesn't power AC sha. |

Esseite: A million naira accomodations, ₦30k for hangout,₦10k laundry services,₦9500 Cable TV, and ₦77k monthly feeding will make him to be living from hand to mouth. How about maintaining the ₦10k internet subscription and Plug it on Smart TV to watch all the watchable? Buy a washing machine and do the laundry yourself, look for someone to iron them for ₦200 a shirt or ₦300 a pair of shirt and trouser. Learn how to cook, there is no excuse for ₦77k feeding fee, if you stock your home with ₦70k you will live on that for over 3 months. Cut your hangout,if you must hang out,go to places like a beach or not too expensive hangout where you will save money, who hangout help?. Above all look for a relatively cheap accomodations around ₦500-₦600k, saving you almost half of that in a year or if you still want to claim your big boy, look for Flat's that are for sale in that same neighborhood, get a bank to finance it for you and in less than 10yrs you will own it and stop paying rent. Big boyism no dey help anybody these days oo, except you wan spend your old age in regrets. What if your company decided to downsize? You need to turn back from this ruinous path 5 Likes |

Esseite: I can assure you, and I am 100% convinced that, this guy will still not save up to 10k monthly, if his salary is suddenly increased to 850k let’s say, by next month. The issue is not the amount he is earning, the issue is his financial literacy level. I was in this guy’s shoe for a very long time. I was earning 30k monthly, d money nor Dey reach. I start Dey earn 50k, e nor still reach. 80k, na same story... until 1 girl I met on 2go that year (when social media was still social, not now that it is vicious) helped me re-organized my life. With my 50k salary, I was about to save 120k in 12month and funnily enough, my life style nor depreciate... rather, e appreciate cos it was planned. Devil be make me leave that gal Dey find wetin I nor even know and I go back to wastage... thank God, I don get sense back now. Though we nor Dey togeda (she is married now), but u Dey apply her principles wen she teach me way back now Presently, I earn less than 150k a month yet, I save approximately, 40k monthly. No sir, I am not living in a face me I face you apartment. I live in a 3bedroom flat but rather than pay 750k in Sapele RD or GRA as most guys in my office Dey do, I sufry carry myself go Aduwawa where I Dey pay 200k. I chose GOTV and Dey do 2,460 sub. I run my clothes myself, I Dey cook and why I go use 500naira recharge a day when Watsapp Dey there? I will recommend this book for you OP, “THE RICHEST MAN IN BABYLON”. Buy and make that book your companion for the next 6 months. Put am near ya pillow and go thru am, at least, once every week if you truly care about your future 12 Likes |

How do you manage your work responsibilities? Whoever spends in this manner can run down a Fortune 500 company in 2 weeks. Just make sure you don't accept a budgetary-related role in your company and forget about starting a business. 8 Likes 1 Share |
