Well, mine was on the 13th, standard application, received the same email on the 1st of September... But we're hoping to get a response shortly

Madness of UKVI. Did biometric on the 26th of August and no decision till now. It’s frightening that people on the 13th and 18th of August are still waiting for decision but application on the 9th and 12th of September are already getting decision mail and getting back there passports.

It's not everyone that had the intention of not declaring. I personally asked for details of my relation in the UK hoping to declare it. I was deceived by the list they showed of the meaning of a family. I didn't know it was an example or including some relationships that may not be obvious. If I had tried selecting YES maybe I could have seen the options that suits my relationship, but I didn't. It's still paining me because my relation was already planning for the arrival of my family to host them. Now I have to spend money to quarantine elsewhere or go to a friend's place which is quite inconveniencing for me, my family, and possibly my friend.

I do hope I could have a way of sorting this error soon or forever pretend that I don't have a relation in the UK.

If you didn't declare them during your application cos they are distance relatives and want to stay with them for quarantine period, it's fine. Plans can change etc. Although depends on how close it is to your school and providing you know all their details for Point of Entry purposes

Please ensure you resolve accommodation issues before you travel. If you are using the hotel please budget for extra days after the mandatory 10 days isolation. My eyes have seen things recently even family and friends can change am 4u!!! UK = Bring ur money and sort yourself!!!

Either should be good. Been booking with Wakanow for years, recently booked my flight with Virgin with them and I linked the booking reference on the Virgin App. From my experience, It’s also cheaper to book with 3rd party apps.
