They're still expecting all the state commend to submit their list of candidates who are successful screened and cleared. And they were many spaces that needs to fill up because not everyone that their names appears on the screening list turn up for screening so they need to replace those people.

At a point my plug contacted me asking if I know or have anyone interested from South East and some few other states that couldn't fill up their quote due to the low turnout for the screening exercise.

Compilation of names is almost done, just waiting for few States to submit theirs.

Another thing holding up the final list is the NIS. They want to conclude everything with NIS before turning attention to NSCDC.

So let's hope and pray that next month October is the month for testimonies.

This reminds me of the day of my screening.
The top officer at the venue was busy lamenting about the low turn out of those from Ebonyi state.
He even put a call across to probably the state commander asking why his people didn't turn up. At the end of the call, while speaking to his colleagues he said the person he called said announcement was made on various radio stations and that he will try to make use of TV stations. Others jokingly said Ebonyi people are contented with their rice; that it fetches them enough money

He ended by saying that they had until Saturday to show up else he will submit the list he has and in that case ............ (can't remember for sure if he said others will take the unfilled spot or something).

After they do the screening by geo-political zone, are they not going to compile the list state by state through the various state command?

Board in charge of ministry of interior issues apls for level 8 and above while individual agencies under same ministry issue apls for junior level officers.
But note: all successful applicants will be issued apls and captured in the HQ before you all report to individual state commands before finally, a 6month training.

The board only conduct recruitment for senior cader which is from level 8 and above.

From level 7 downward is conducted by the various para-military body without any input from the board.
