Welcome to a world where people prefer nepotism and be suffering, being killed, being used as pawns on chess boards, than another tribe to be handled the mantle of leadership. And you dare say human government has not failed? 47 Likes 2 Shares |

Leave those Mumu southern one Nigerianists, let a president from south appoint only southerners in his cabinet like bihari did and watch the country burn within a Few days, even the Fulani dominated army will not take orders from a southern president.. 141 Likes 10 Shares |

Baba Akintoye is right. This country is not an equal for all country. Some have the born to rule mentality. The center cannot hold any longer. The country called Nigeria continues to deteriorate. It's so unfortunate. 57 Likes 1 Share |

MajesticKris: .....but what is ur own belief concerning what Prof. Akintoye said? Was he right or wrong and do buttress your "belief" with verifiable proof/s. Objoke was in Aso rock for 8 years however, even "Stevie Wonder- cogenitially blindman, can tell that it was the Northerners who were pulling his "puppet" strings. 7 Likes |

They enjoy numerical strength because we haven't started thinking down south. The south must unite as a single political bloc and entice the vastly north central. All we need down south to win any election is to secure 90% votes down south and 55% in North Central. Nigeria's power lies in the north central. The agenda of any southern president or party must be to rapidly denorthernise the north central. This is possible because it is isn't necessarily a fulani or hausa enclave. 1) Form a resilient southern bloc 2) Aggressively court the North Central and integrate them into a southern agenda. 3) Play the religious divide with wisdom. Don't let the north west use Islam to shatter a southern bloc. And you have your power. Ensure anytime south or NC has power ensure the north west is dealt with in the same proportion the south was excluded during a northern presidency. Lalasticlala 69 Likes 6 Shares |

T9ksy: If I may. Prof. Akintoye was very wrong. He does not seem to be aware that seun has created Nairaland where we congregate - to argue and insult each other and bet9ja and bigbrother now, but who in the future would organise and evolve into the powerful force that will shape Nigeria into the great nation and people we are destined to become. It is that becoming that you are here being as you acquire the knowhow of your destined greatness. Prof. Akintoye would know this if he sees the tool that Nairaland is, or will evolve into once we Nairalanders realise it ourselves and plot our own destiny and future. 1 Like 2 Shares

dasparrow: This is amusing. Last time I checked, mentality is a personal choice or preference. One gets to choose which is one unless braindead so can't choose. You make me recognise some have born to lose mentality. Rule! 1 Like |

THE BIGGEST LIE EVER TOLD!!! Northern Nigerians have deceived the stupid Southerners for years by making the stupid Southerners believe that... THE NORTH HAS NUMERICAL ADVANTAGE OVER THE SOUTH They divided Igbos and made the Delta and Rivers Igbos swear that they are not Igbos. BUT, they annexed Benue, Plateau, Kogi, and Kwara and made them believe that they are NOT (sorry, NORTH). They are NOT, because they have lost their identity to the minority Hausa/Fulani. Culturally speaking, Benue and Jos are more similar to the Southern Igbos while Kwara and Kogi are more similar to the Southern Yorubas than to the Northern Hausa/Fulani. So, with these 4 states removed, where is the numerical strength of the Hausa/Fulani that are typically NORTH? Where is their numerical strength that gives them the right to kill everyone in the country and even our parliamentarians seem helpless about it because... EVERYONE STUPIDLY THINKS THAT CORE NORTH HAS A NUMERICAL ADVANTAGE OVER EVERYONE HERE? Nigerians are the most stupid set of beasts of burden that ever lived on Earth. 18 Likes 2 Shares |
