Bro you need to rest. You can’t just write people off or discourage people going for Associate Degree that they have very low chances of getting the visa. Most Community Colleges partners with universities which you will easily transferred to. I used to think students that go to Community colleges have low chances of getting the visa but after joining this forum, I realized that was African mentality and because we don’t have much people here going for such degree doesn’t mean people don’t go for it or they don’t the visa.

Have read so many transcripts on this forum and I can tell you that is not just your profile that matters to the VO but your Story and your God. Have seen people going for phD (full funding) and even good transcripts but still get delayed also on this forum have seen someone going for a course that doesn’t relate with what they studied in their bachelors but still got the visa. Everybody has different story and I don’t think your focus should be who get or not. Just wish people well, and they will congratulate you too. Anybody, any profile can get you a visa.

Don’t really get you but most US schools give English test waiver to Nigerian students. You don’t need a letter

You can still send a mail to to your department or your grad. Cord to confirm...but most of the schools waive English test for Nigerians.

Hello, I guess my question was swallowed up due to arguments, that's why I'm reposting. a friend needs your professional opinion, how does he tackle this situation, he's considering deferring to fall'22 as he doesn't have the SOA($34,000) for now to process the i-20, while at the same time waiting for other schools fall admission decisions. on a second thought Another mind is telling him to reply the mail and tell him that the Visa application will be made easier with any form of assistantship in his I-20, but I'm thinking it might come off as being too pushy, what do you you guys advice, he hasn't replied the mail since yesterday, looking for an appropriate approach.

No they don’t send a copy to email. They only send to physical address. You may have to request a copy for yourself if you need one. But an unofficial, inscripted copy will be available on your portal for your view only

Yes, I requested for my transcript from YCT to WES, but that was in 2019. The staffs have increased prices and blamed CoViD19 when a friend requested earlier this year.

why this school: Apart from the fact that it was recommended by a very senior colleague and an alumnus of the school, the programme is a 70%class work according to the head of department proof Santos...so it means as I am attending classes, I am also gaining the first-hand experience in the field.

I have a contact that helped me with mine but I spent like 35k in total to send it and after, you will still pay another 5k for verification of your credentials before your evaluation can be done.

I requested my school to send my transcript to WES. Paid the WES evaluation fee which is like 205 dollars. I tracked my transcript till it got to WES and WES sent it back to my school for verification. I paid another fee for verification in my school before they verified my transcript and sent it to WES again. After the WES evaluation, a copy was sent to me which I used with my unofficial transcript from my school during my application. But still, you will request from WES to send the official one to the school which costs additional 40 dollars to do. If you have any other questions or clarifications please let me know.

They require i only upload scanned copy of my original transcripts.. it's about $325 and i will be using it since it will be faster than going through my school system wahala.
