All this noise is very unnecessary... A Southerner will emerge president come 2023..the issue is from which part. SW, SS or SE which deserves it the most.. 2023 is gonna be a hell of a year..I can't wait 2 Likes |

South-West is not being fair to other Southerners, that's why the North may keep the Presidency. South-South had only one term under Jonathan and needs another term, while the Southeast hasn't had any term. Like Zulum said, Southern Presidency should be between South-South and Southeast. The Southwest wants to add another 8 years to their 16 years as President and Vp. Which equates to 24 years and that GREED. 5 Likes |

Upton:i know that you are aware that the north are one ,but for mischievous reasons you feign ignorance of that fact, since the north are one based on our political system and the east is one of the three major tribes that makes up one Nigeria. Don't you think is fair to give them equal opportunities? |

Yorubas quest for power is same like the Fulanis. It's hypocritical to castigate the Fulanis and still want the Presidency. The Yorubas should stop demonizing other Southerners that don't support their GREED. Support the SS or SE and we will take your desire for Southern Presidency seriously and not some Yoruba cynical agenda. 4 Likes |

nairavsdollars: The amalgamation of 1914 was an undoing that should be undone. It's not working. It's stifling development and progress. The motive of the amalgamation was purely borne out of a selfish motive by Britain to have administrative convenience over the colony. Such motive is too fragile to lump large swathes of land mass and burgeoning populations together. To worsen matters, Nigeria has been plagued by rulers (not leaders) who are devoid of cranial endowments, rulers who trick the people and steal from the common till with reckless impunity. |

The turning point of Nigeria will be 2022.......the north will have to decide again if they still want a country called Nigeria or see how far the Gold in zamfara state can carry them as a new nation. Definitely, this country will see crisis come 2022! May God help us |

As for me if the north decide to hijack the Presidency election for 2023, well the entire south will sit at home and watch them do it alone. We will not participate so let's see how they will come and rule over us. It take two or more person's to contest an election but when they realize no one is involved they will get the message and it does not end there! They have seen southern Cameroun and what is happening. if I don't participate in your election you can't rule over me. It's that simple. That election will not be legitimized. |

South West are here shouting for 2023 Southern presidency for equity and fairness.... But once u tell them that it's Igbo turn to produce the president, their mood will change some will even open their smelly mouth shouting over their dead body will Igbo man be the president. Why then are you involving other southerners in ur greedy ambition... The same people that collide with north to vote out south south man. As of then if u ask them, they will say that there is nothing like south, that all region is on his own.... The whole Nigeria will now confirm that the greedy and untrusted tribe in Nigeria is Yoruba... They are now showing their true color. 3 Likes |

If presidency is not ceded to the south.... The north can contest it with u and if they win would u say it was ceded to the north? It should be ceded to the South simple. Or better still unbundle Nigeria. Biafra......ebe ano. |

Upton: If the SW is contesting then there is no moral authority to ask the North not to contest. If I can by your logic too,a party can produce a candidate from the NE that has not tested it in over 60 years another can present a SW candidate then Nigerians can then decide. 1 Like |

Validated: When your governors are betraying and back stabbing the southern governors forum, then you want them to dash you the presidency? If the south east doesn’t get the presidency, know that it is not because they didn’t want to give it to you, it was because your political leaders don’t know how to play politics. 1 Like |

Northern political leaders are not behaving well these days. They want to take everything that bind us together as a nation to the north. Thanks Prof Sagay for sending caution note to the northern political leaders who want to divide the country by their greed to monopolise the presidency. |

AntiChristian:Keep deceiving yourself after all the round disgrace buhari has dished to tinubu You would mention he visited him in London to expose his frail state But what fraction does tinubu really control under the Gumi leadership since Oshomole was botted One man can not sit in Lagos and dictate for apc- buhari Atiku doesn't need to come back to apc, buhari can as well hand him the presidency in pdp like he handed him his fatherly duties if the tension for a southern to succeed him via apc becomes much Any surprise why the north is now emboldened by the day through its presidency proxies like NEF, ACF, myetti Allah, that a Northerner must continue after buhari |
