It actually helps people doing business with China. You can have your naira account here and then use such account to purchase your goods.

Since a lot of our imports are from there, it helps.

I await when our importers will look to China for second hand cars instead of Canada and America
Them use second hand swear for u. Can’t we produce cars and use here we should import substandard used car in China.. Abeg Abeg

Stop saying trash, if you believe that China is coming to fight corruption for you or to make Nigeria better, then it shows how ignorant you are.

China is never bothered about how a country runs its space provided they're having their way. If the president and his cronies like, let them kill a million innocent people and loot their central Bank of every bank note, they won't flinch! It's even the West you're demonizing that will demand for human rights and good governance.

Stop decieving yourself. The Chinese invasion of Nigeria is 100% to their benefit and Nigeria will be the loser in so many areas. Giving you money to build a couple of infrastures and knowing you won't be able to pay back then using it as excuse to seize your entire existence is a cunning way of feeding you only to own you totally. Won't it be better for you to starve a while while seeking for ways to improve your life than taking food from a stranger who will end up making you a slave?

I never said anything about China coming to fight corruption. I said China deals harshly with the corrupt so they probably won't be bringing more corruption here.
China is no utopia and has issues but is making progress in the world.

And proof read your spelling before calling someone ignorant.

A few generations and some current 9ja leaders thought it was more important to build up the economy of the UAE/Dubai and the UK than invest oil revenue and capital here.
Imagine, a guy aspirering to be president but has a luxury. penthouse in Dubai.

If Atiku owning a mansion in Dubai is not bad enough, the current president sending all his children to foreign universities and also patronising foreign healthcare facilities is even worst. The most important resource of any nation is its human capital. The ability for a country to mass produce well educated and healthy youths are the foundation of any successful nation.

You keep insisting on something you're not informed about. China enjoys working with corrupt governments across the globe. It makes it easier for them to manipulate countries that are corrupt. They only fight corruption or are against it when it is done on Chinese soil.

Yes, if you don't know that China is a ruthless, aggressive and exploitative country that is out to exploit Nigeria then it means you're ignorant.

Meanwhile, asking me to "proof read" my post even when you couldn't find any tangible typographical error shows how petty you are.

Next time correct yourself and write proofread, not proof read tongue

No, I don’t need to see anything. Do you know how many European banks and US banks in Nigeria? Do you know how many SA banks here? I guess we have long been colonized by their respective countries as well right?
Do you know that if I make a wire transfer to US it gets to US same day? Why is that?
Do you know that if I make the same wire transfer to China, it takes forever. Why is that also? If you don’t know the answer, you can continue with your position of colonialism washed into your mind by the media.
Right thinking business men who does business with China and Asia will see this as a welcome development.

Do you know that there are many various cattle breeders in Nigeria? And so you know that Miyetti Allah is the only group of cattle breeders that go about damaging farms, killing farmers and killing residents of communities where they herd their cattle?

Have you considered the fact that European and American banks just want to do business and maybe do some brisk runs undergorund and that the Chinese have an ulterior motive and that this bank is a Trojan horse?

I guess GTB and Access bank are colonizing Ghana and other Afro countries, or so to say Nigeria’s first wave of colonization?

Those banks are not doing business in naira over there. The Chinese banks are going to do yuan transactions and not naira in Nigeria. This will further diminish the naira.

Second wave of colonization!

I would rather they invested in Agriculture were we are struggling than in our banking sector. We don’t need their banks here for anything.
Re: Cui Jianchin Mulls Establishment Of Chinese Banks In Nigeria by denjjy(m): 2:48pm On Sep 22, 2021
That's going to make business transactions easy and secured to those buying from china, especially to young entrepreneurs that are into mini importation from China and neighbouring Asia countries. Funding Alipay account will be as easy as ABC, there will be no anything like agents charges or any nonsense of such.....this decision must be welcomed by the Gov.

In my next life, I never want to come as an African again. We are the only group of people that keep getting colonized over and over again. First by the Arabs. Then by the Europeans and now here come the Asians. Being an African is nothing to be proud of. We are a conquered people I tell you. The African man lacks vision on how to create economically viable nations and is always at the mercy of other racial groups. SMH.

Not surprised, the nAira and tissue paper these days no difference
Tissue paper got an advantage over the naira if you ask me, because you can't finish a roll of tissue paper in a week but will finish a bundle of naira of any denomination in few seconds for less value.

They are never interested in your development. Instead of China to help you out, she will steal you as a slave from your Western slave masters and makes you an Eastern slave raised to power two. Now Your Servitude Continues (NYSC).

It should come with loans with low interest rates as against almost 35% interest rate that those useless banks are charging. But when you have your money with them, even fixed deposits can't attract up to 10% interest.
