I wish we Yoruba can do the same thing together with our SE brothers let’s solve this problems once and for all

Yoruba nation should not work together with SE brothers. The Fulani Government of Nigeria will give it terrorist divide and rule tactics. Remember what happen at UN general assembly recently.

I love this country called Nigeria because everyone knows his/her boundary; Boko Haram knows it's boundary and it won't operates outside that; Bandits know it's boundary it won't operates outside too; IPOB can't lockdown the country or threatened the country except it's operational region! That's what we call respect! Any attempt to lockdown south east for at least 48hrs that would surely be the end of IPOB because an Hungary man would definitely be an angry man. One reason why FG couldn't futher lockdown the country again during the COVID-19.1 was because there was hunger, serious hunger!

Check your first sentence with the exclamation mark..

People were killed in previous protests and you encourage them to go get killed again close to a court that tolerate the abuse of court orders?

Now go back to your first sentence, ponder for a while and say to yourself :
"between me and Broveens42 who spews rubbish?"
people were killed in the last protest? Is that enough reason to suffer the people in the east by forcing people to sit at home against their will?? If people were killed then that is the price they are paying. Not leaving the area of action in Abuja to come and start inflicting more hardship on the people in the east or is it only in the east UGM and ESN can show their power? Let them go and meet their match in Abuja trash it out.

You still don't understand the concept of civil disobedience.
What do you even mean by bidding.
The last Time I checked, they just want his appearance in court, granted a fair hearing etc.
But your mindset could be so screwed that you think they are demanding for a ceremonial release.

As to your question. Correlation of civil disobedience to whatever you call bidding.

Civil disobedience is not a result of the expectation. The expectation is a result of civil disobedience. Get that in your skull Nigerian graduate

"Civil disobedience can be defined as refusing to obey a law, a regulation or a power judged unjust in a peaceful manner. Civil disobedience is, therefore, a form of resistance without violence." (Oxford)

That is the widespread meaning of Civil Disobedience...

It is collective decision by protesting group in the face of oppression. It is voluntary and non-violent...

Pray tell, how is forcing innocent fathers, mothers, children to do away with their sources of livelihoods, even at the threat of violence and harm equitable to this historic form of non-violent and effective demonstration against injustice??! How is destroying the business of those who decide not to be a part of such puerile and impotent act amount to or equal Civil disobedience??!

Answer these questions while noting you are yet to show the correlation between compelling defenseless people to sit at home (Using thugs and lowlifes at that) and getting the authorities to arraign an arrested criminal.

You will actually be learning something or even imparting anything if you didn't tenaciously hold on to the belief that you actually know more than everyone else.

Brothers Decieving Brothers...
95% of IPOB High Command giving all the orders are outside Igboland & have no single stake, even a kiosk, in Igboland let alone in Nigeria.
95% of Igbos funding IPOB are outside Igboland.
95% of Ohaneze & the politicians supporting IPOB are in Abuja, Lagos or abroad.
The Igbos ordering, funding & supporting the disruption & the destruction of lives, livelihoods & properties of fellow Igbos are outside Igboland away from the carnage they are fueling.
Ironically & shamefully, they can't come home anymore to Igboland for fear of their own safety.
They can't even come home during festive periods anymore or come home to bury their loved ones that died.
One in a neighbouring village to mine that came back from abroad in May this year to bury his brother was kidnapped & 7 million naira was demanded from his abductors before he could be allowed to bury his brother.
Many of them have removed their aged parents from the village to Abuja, Lagos, PortHarcourt or went back with them to the foreign lands they reside.
Yet, they keep ordering, funding, supporting & fuelling hate, murder, calamity & destruction in Igboland without remorse or rethink.
The Igbos have a saying that, "dike anaghi ebu ogu abata na ama nna ya" - (a strong or brave man/warrior does not bring back war, calamity or destruction to his fatherhouse).
But those who call themselves Ohamadike & Saviours of Igboland are setting their own fathers house ablaze from the comfort of their abodes outside Igboland.
Talk of brothers doing in their own brothers & bringing their fathers house to ruin!

You spill dust dude...Utter dust. You don't know what war is, except you simply want an opportunity that war-time lawlessness brings to r.ape and loo.t!!!

LLiKYekoba:
God bless IPOB, they are gently training Easterners on psychological strenght in expectation of the war that the foolanis have to visit upon the south.

Biafrans say we want to go peacefully. foolanis and their slaves say there must be war before you. Biafrans have no choice to prepare mentally, psychologically and materially.

We do this for our unborn generation.

Good. I succeeded in making you research more about civil disobedience...
I'm so smart grin
1.So how is sit at home not peaceful?
2.How do you compel people to observe a peaceful protest. It is expected that a leader of a protest schedules dates, methodologies of protest or are you saying people just get inspiration on their own to protest at same time..lol

One of the problems of Nigeria's educational system is stereotypes

No sir... I have always known what civil disobedience means. I had to bring it to you 'cause you seem quite confused.

1. How can sit at home be said to be peaceful when those performing it are doing so under duress and at the threat of intimidation, injury and death??!

2. You can actually compel cowards (You know who I am referring to) to do anything by threatening them with violence and death, even going as far as making public examples of those who fail to comply.

See, when you have something truly meaningful to share, other than vainly grandstanding, let me know.

Meanwhile, my questions are still up there... Thank you.

Awesome! One is the first odd positive number but it does not leave a remainder 1, so how about we make 3, 5, or 7 months. That'll send powerful massage. I like the way y'all think we are in some late middle age of the post classical era. If y'all want to fight the modern globalization, you know where the UN is located.

It was Zik who refused to accept Awolowo’s handshake across the Niger since after the 1951 parliamentary elections. Later Awolowo summoned the Yoruba Obas and the elites of the Yoruba nation to a meeting. He told them that he was not worried that his party, the Action Group (AG) lost the election. He said that what worried him was what future Yoruba generations would say about their own generation for allowing Zik, an Igboman, to rule them in their own land considering that the Yorubas were exposed to western civilization and Christianity before the Igbos! A shout of “otio, otio” the Yoruba word for no, exploded till date

Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe was largely responsible, directly and indirectly, for the plight of y'all from 1960 to date. Which made Britain, to hand over power on a platter of gold to their well-nurtured obedient children, Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto and Tafawa Balewa

Azikiwe led the NCNC into the important 1959 federal elections, which preceded Nigerian independence. He was able to form a temporary government with the powerful Northern People’s Congress, but its deputy leader, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, took the key post of prime minister.

So your competition with the Yorubas bring us to this questions, what's your problem with the North.

Where did they mention yoruba in the original piece here or am I blind? Please show where IPOB mentioned Yoruba in the thread.

You want to lockdown for a month, that will be Hara Kiri on the part of IPOB

Sometimes I wonder if the so called IPOB leaders are in Nigeria, because how can someone in his right mind just talk about lockdown for a month. Don't they think about
The market men and women
Shoemakers a
Barbers
Transport workers
Food sellers
And many other, even the people will revolt against them with this dumb move.
You don't get! Do you!!! It isn't about money anymore! If it is about money they would have accepted millions offered as bribes to IPOB from the FG and south east politicians

Competition with Yoruba in terms of owning 90% of the landed properties in Lagos or developing all the swamps and establishing markets all over remote ends of Lagos thereby translating to a modern city under the sweats of the Igboman. Mr. Man next time before you speak about politics visit Ekiti or Osun state the hometown of many of your elites and see that where an Igbo man does not concentrate the place remains backward.
