Chiall: Budget 65k max. VFS Global will take 19k+ and French embassy will take another 41k or so. Important documents are: Flight booking Your passport showing your visa to your country of destination Colour photocopy of your visa page and the biodata page of your passport (one copy each is okay) Passport photograph: they have a specification. Google schengen passport specifications for more info. They're very strict about that. You can pay 1,500 or so to have the picture taken at the office If you're a student, print your unconditional offer letter, if you aren't, print one month bank statement. (I don't think this bit is important but they ask sometimes) Print the visa application form and the France receipt. Note: do not try to print anything outside the venue. Those guys are sharks. Please endeavour to print all before going in. They do colour photocopy inside at a fair price sha but they don't print. |

Good morning! Please, where in Lagos can I do COVID-19 test (Government approved center). I am planning to do it a day to my travel date.Is it possible to get the result on that test day? How much is the test? Looking forward to your kind responses. Thanks. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nchabuomo: 7:59am On Sep 23, 2021 |
kolladey: Check the NCDC website for government approved centres in Lagos. If you give your sample in the morning you will most likely get the test result in the evening, at least that has been my experience. It's about 39k5 |

Amakapritty: Yellow fever vaccine card is for African countries, I don't think you will need it to travel to Europe. |

Yellow Fever Vaccine via-a-vis Yellow Fever Card lasts 10 years from the day of receiving both. But western countries do not require it for travelling. To know the validity of both Vaccine and Card, scan the QR code on the cover page of the card by using QR or Bar code app. QR or Bar code app can be downloaded from Google Playstore |

pufframmy: To know its validity, scan the QR code of the card and see the hidden information that are not written on the card especially the exact year a card expires. |

Guys pls advice, when do I take my covid_19 test if the requirement is 72 hours before arrival and am to travel on a Friday by 10pm |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Kajolplus: 8:53pm On Sep 25, 2021 |
Amakapritty: ANSWER: A day (Thursday morning) before travel day (Friday). NB: If your ticket is booked, ask your carrier (airline) their approved Covid-19 test laboratory. Once airline tells you, search for the laboratory on google and begin to talk to them via WhatsApp. Professionally, the laboratory will answer all your Covid-19 test questions |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by pufframmy: 12:02am On Sep 26, 2021 |
must we ask from the airline or we can use government approved Kajolplus: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nchabuomo: 12:21am On Sep 26, 2021 |
pufframmy:Just use any NCDC approved centre. Does airlines even have the power to dictate which tests centres they accept? Once the test centre is approved by the government of the country the test is conducted in, then it's acceptable. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Kajolplus: 7:49am On Sep 26, 2021 |
Nchabuomo: Don't just use any NCDC approved laboratory, it is advisable to ask your carrier in order to avoid 'had I know'. Example of the airlines I know: Ethiopia airline accepts any NCDC approved laboratories. British Airways and Qatar Airways don't accept any. They have their own approved laboratories. These laboratories are amongst NCDC approved laboratories. I wish all travellers save and covid-free-problem journey. |
