You ensured Jonathan lost.

The entire South got Obasanjo elected for eight years but you couldn't see Jonathan finish just for years.

Osibanjo is the VP and you greedy lots want the entire South to return another Yoruba to Aso Rock.

What a greedy bunch. Why not canvas for another Southern from different region?

Why won't Northeast or North Central lay claim to the presidenty since it's rotary?

SE votes are irrelevant when it comes to deciding the presidential election and with the ongoing sit at home madness by IPOB's UGM, voters turnout in SE will not be up to 30% in 2023. So you see, all these threats to sabotage the southern interest is just empty threats. You don't have the numbers to affect any candidate negatively or positively.

Igbos on Nairaland are so funny grin

You don't want the South South to vote a Yoruba man, but you want the South South to vote for an Igbo man or Fulani man grin

If the PDP present Atiku, I will vote the APC if they present a Southerner.

But they were not greedy back stabber 2011 by giving Jonathan the necessary votes that made him president. See, the south west played a vital role in the emergency of Jonathan as president after the death of Musa Yahradua.. They were vocal and marched the street with Save Nigeria Group and also Tinubu worked with Jonathan and PDP in 2011 except for Aregbesola who had a personal message to pass.

So spare us the message of backstabbing. If it's zone to the south, let all state within the region project their candidates and where not possible lobby within southern states to ensure your candidate wins. Umahi is as good as osibanjo and Orji Kalu, Okorocha all have soared names as well as Tinubu although Tinubu is a canpon as stated by Aketi.

If the east wants it, let them negotiate amongst themselves and project a candidate, just like the west because I'm so sure there will be one voice across parties if it goes to the west and then the south south should do same.

Forget all this online noise from few people who might not even vote.

APC won the Governorship election in Bayelsa state, before the Supreme Court installed Diri.

I don't speak for all the people in my tribe, but if PDP present Atiku or any politician from the North West and North East, I won't be voting for the PDP

The usual illogical argument from you guys. Is the South west campaigning against the south east from contesting in 2023? Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed are currently canvassing for support to get the presidential ticket of PDP, what's stopping Peter Obi, Ekweremadu, Theodore Orji and other Igbo politician from the south east from also making effort to get the ticket?

Tinubu despite being on the sick bed has been meeting several key stakeholders in APC towards his 2023 ambition. Osinbajo's people recently set up a group of lobbyist to move around and canvass for support for his 2023 ambition. The VP was even in Kaduna yesterday to see to commission some projects but the real intention was 2023 politics. Goodluck is currently negotiating for the ticket of APC with some power brokers from the north. In all of these, no single Igbo man is making any effort. All you guys do is stay online to insult and threaten the south west. Wike is doing everything possible to dictate the direction of PDP's presidential ticket while Peter Obi is just playing around and waiting for Atiku to win PDP's ticket and make him his running mate. How's that a strategy?

So tell me, what exactly do you want the south west to do for the Igbos when the Igbos are not even doing anything for themselves? You mean no Yoruba person should contest for the ticket of APC and PDP simply because Igbos are not contesting? Even if some Igbo guys finally grow the balls to contest for the tickets of any of the two major parties, are you saying someone from the SW and SS must not contest against them? Where were you when Ekwueme contested against Obasanjo in 1999 and 2003 for PDP's ticket?

Igbos being the second largest ethnic group in the South have always voted against whatever Yorùbá stand for. The only reason the Igbos voted Obasanjo in 1999 was because Olú Falae and not Obasanjo was our prefered candidate.
