RollyA:my dear ,let his dad pay the school fees and if possible open a GIC for him ooo.cos lump sum this days is dicey.also,if his name is on the CAC documents, it will fly since his dad is the director and he is one of the owners but the only negative is that the company account MUST BE VERY WELL FUNDED |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by RollyA(f): 11:25am On Sep 25, 2021 |
And company sponsorship is also worse. That’s why I said I will rather have the lump sum come from his dads personal account than company. They hardly check all that, only a few actually check well and understand. Once they see company they become suspicious. GIC is really pricey, not everyone can afford it. I know I spent extra 1m cos of black market. So for me, if he’s not in a hurry, move the money monthly till he’s ready, some ppl actually use 1 year to build account. That’s the best but not everyone has that luxury of time Enjay316: |

See ehn, let it stay if you can. Or let your dad write a letter saying they will release money monthly, the money doesn’t have to move to your account. I have seen ppl get approved for stating the intention but your dads account has to be loaded too and consistent income and inflow coming in

|

From the little knowledge I have gotten from this platform...I think you can use whatever it is you need to use as a home tie...Landed properties are good too,but I think it will be more reasonable for you to say why you need to come back to those landed properties, state the importance of it,if it was inherited from your father or mother, you can say they gave it to you as a gift and its very dear to you,all these should be added to your sop because stating you have landed property is not enough, you also need to do some compelling explanation and also in the area of taking a loan, please and please... Do not let them pay that loan into the account you wish to use for my Bank statement... You can get the loan in a separate account, then you can be sending it to your MBS account little by little with reasonable transaction details for each transaction as a source to where the money is coming from... If you plan sending your MyBankStatement in December, you can get the loan that subsequently send it to your MBS account... I just hope you understand what am trying to say...it will save you stress of explaining how the lump sum got into your account... This worked for my husband and he got his PPR but whichever way you do it...I pray it will end in praise! shawnmich: 1 Like |

RollyA: They are just insurance investments which I can liquidate anytime. My mom is my sole sponsor. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Nobody: 11:36am On Sep 25, 2021 |
RollyA:I understand dear.it is well.I think the issue may b d lump sum and they probably think if the job was so sweet as to them considering to even make u the M.D, why do u still need a sponsor?.also they may feel that course can be read in Nigeria, y Canada ?. This V.O can be somehow.if u were an Indian, u would be given PPR straight up.and my brother in Canada told me Nigerians are doing better in Canada in terms of criminality than indians 2 Likes |

That’s another angle, that’s why I said even their law itself states that an applicant must show that he has funds available, whether I am established or not is now overdoing. Does my course of study align, yes, Is the money there, if it’s not, did the person giving you money write a letter? Will this person come back? That is all they need Enjay316: |

[BolaT53 I don't really think you have any reason to fear since you have already submitted your application.... You said your aunt is your sponsor and you don't bear the same surname... Its a red flag to me but I think you should explain more on why your aunt would want to spend her hard earned money on you... If I am in your shoes,I will write another SOP ,talking more about my aunt ,her love for me and if there's any reason why she should sponsor me...like if she made a promise to your parents or something... You can also back it up with pictures... You and your aunt, maybe when you are little, picture of your aunt and your parents, picture of your aunt and you when you graduated... Just any picture that shows how close your aunt is to your nuclear family, you can send it as a mail or through webform. Your aunt paid your one year tuition fees and sent the living expenses to your account,, I only hope when she sent the living expenses the transaction details carried that name" living expenses for school "if it did, then you have nothing to worry about... Only pray a Good VO handles your application and also make your home ties very strong since you're not married... I hope this helps quote author=BolaT53 post=106138916] Good evening I’m a silent reader but I have a concern my application was refused based on personal asset and financial status. My aunt was my sponsor we don’t bear the same surname she sponsored my undergraduate degree throughout my years in school provided evidence, she has paid my 1year full tuition for my and sent me my living expenses though when it came in it was a lump some and it came few days to when I had submitted my application. I did not submit any landed documents or personal assets in my name I submitted her corporate account statements about 45m and my own personal statement with 5m she sent me alone how do I address this Abeg and the company is a charitable organization and she owns it. That’s the issue, I duno if it’s recognized. I watched a webinar on ksas page, held with an ex visa officer. The ppl assessing may not be Nigerians, they are probably not even used to the investment, how can they verify, for me, you could have used a bank they recognize, like a list of banks on my bank statement, I think that’s what they are not comfy with. Please get a consultant to advise you on how to address this, it will be tough without them seeing it as a lump sum even if you attach all documents. Elixosodi: |

RollyA:I agree.one thing about GIC is that weda u like it or not,u will still spend that money on black market uf u r still going to move money from Naija. but it helps answer lump sum questions I think o.Company account could be dicey I also agree. Also he did not tell us if they have been paying tax cos the company may have to submit that too if they are to sponsor him |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by RollyA(f): 11:51am On Sep 25, 2021 |
No actually, bank can transfer living funds to you. Recently it’s about 3-4k per semester. Living cost is covered only that it’s not prioritized over school fees or medical bills, so they put a cap to it. The beauty of the GIC is if they pay you, you can change it to Naira black market and even make double provided the black market rates go up. For me, company sponsorship is just a no no, it requires a lot of due diligence. So I will rather just use business and co as ties, and proof of asset Enjay316: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by RollyA(f): 12:00pm On Sep 25, 2021 |
For me I think I made progress in how I have been able to change the mind of the visa officer. In my first application they said I’m not well established, I didn’t show that funds were available, duno why they said this, cos I attached bank fixed deposit letters, and I ignored NSE request when they asked, they also said I have weak social and economic ties. This second one, the only issue was lump sum and that’s just cos I liquidated the money they said wasn’t shown. So sometimes reapplication is good but sometimes it can be a trap, lol |

RollyA:do u have evidence or knowledge of someone that paid living cost at official rate?.I have not seen any oo.I even asked my bank and they said form A is only for school fees and medical emergencies. I stand to be corrected o but this was what my bank told me |
