Which support base does Osibanjo have more than Obi?
I'm Igbo but I'll vote Osinbajo over Obi for president, anytime, any party. Obi is just Goodluck 2.0. Osinbajo is better than him.

The north can have another term as long as APC can be dislodged from Aso rock. APC is more like a cult, it has brought so much woes and pains to Nigerians

I don't give a fvck about party. All I'm concerned is not allowing any hausa/fulani man again.

No doubt, it'd take us more than 2 decades to recover from this mess buhari put us into

But can u see how hausa fulani dey play u a political drama? The from of south is "apart from southwest, there is no any likely marketable person that u can show to say he can bring the chair of presidency, due to this incompetency they mush have hand it over to the fulani herder again".

If an Igbo presidential candidate competes against a monkey named Alhaji Danshiki Hasan from the north, over 80 percent of the Hausa Fulani voters will vote for the monkey.

They voted Abiola as against Bashir Tofa. Tofa lost his home state, Kano, to Abiola. So, what are you saying?

Since it was zoned to the North in 2015 and 2019 by PDP and the north lost, will it continue to zone it to the north until it wins in general election?

Though I am not particular about election, but this changing of the goal post at the middle of the game is detestable.

The way it is going, if care is not taken, SE could be too hot after 2023.

We need PDP to reclaim power at the federal level, no sacrifice should be too much to achieve that. PDP don't presently have any strong candidate from the south with national appeal to match Osibanjo or Tinubu taking onto consideration the power of incumbency.

Is south East the only region that hasn't produced a civilian president? What about North Central and North East.?

If PDP is stupidd enough to zone its next presidential ticket to the North under the false and manipulative illusion that the North will vote for it against the popular sentiment in the whole 17 States of the South and active support by Middle Belt that power should leave the North and settle in the South for another 8 years of peaceful, progressive and reform minded Southern leader, then PDP is headed to serious defeat. PDP should know it will loose across the entire South if it fields another Northerner after 8 years of Northern government under Buhari.

Where are these Ibo Nairaland miscreants ? Can you see an Igboman heading committee that your presidency to the North, and chairmanship to the Southwest, leaving you with vp, to play the second fiddle. That's the best an Igboman can be in Nigeria, second fiddle.

Hahahahahaha PDP bye bye oooo. More dangerously to mention down south.
People respect north they own d game. It's a game between a southern controlled nominated candidate or a northerner itself.
Oga d results are same

It's already an open secret known to any discerning observer since.

SW gets chairman in the person of Oyinlola.
NE gets president in Atiku.
SE gets vice president in Obi.

However, they shot themselves at the foot by taking the presidency to North when there is a national sentiment for it to return South.

APC will give their ticket to GEJ and team him with a popular Northerner as Vice. GEJ will win SS, make a good showing in SE, win SW, and split North with Atiku.

Except APC picks a weak candidate like Osinbajo they are most likely to win.

Who told you Osinbajo is weak? Meanwhile, do you think Jonathan candidacy is healthy for us. He would be a stooge in the hands of the Northern cabals, who would definitely want to get power back in 2027. Osinbajo is still the best option for now.

Same Osibanjo that couldn't deliver his polling unit.

Then you know nothing about politics.

Kwankwaso have far more support base in North than Atiku...
Atiku won Buhari if not for rigging, you know this.

Atiku almost dethroned Obasanjo during their time.

Obi have more voter strength than Osinbajo.

Osinbajo will win SW, some Northern states and lose in SE and SS and Middlebelt if he goes against Obi one on one. Obi with a strong Northern VP will win NE, NC.

Osinbajo will win SW, NW, some NC states.

Osinbajo lost in his Lagos polling unit in 2019, and he has no political strength in his home state of Ogun, so how can you compare such man that rose to political fame by luck to seasoned politicians that command political influence both in their state and beyond

Tinubu is the most popular Yoruba politician right now but his age health and his corrupt lifestyle and past is a big minus for him, if not he is the right person to win 2023 election.

I'd love to see other regions reject the position of the national chairman in protest against this idea but greed and self-interest will not let them. They rather continue playing second fiddle.

It's either a spoiler contract executed or they've proved they're a bunch of political rascals.

They've taken so much to sell Atiku to victims of Fulani terrorist herdsmen as though all we've suffered had never been enough.
