Should Women Actually Earn The Same Salary As Men? by allthingsgood: 7:31am On Sep 26, 2021 |
Should women be allowed to earn the same salary as men? If you ask me, I will say no. Not because women are lesser but in my view men carry heavier financial burden than women on the average. Plus men don't have mood swings or natural irritation born from periods or menopause etc. Men are less frequently sick and also don't get pregnant, all of which translates to more productivity. On top of all that, men are more often the breadwinners and society places all every single financial burden on the man. So why should women earn the same as men |

Yes. Why? Because they are humans and have the sane rights as men. You needs anymore reasons, build a time machine and travel back to the stone age and stay there; I am pretty sure that will suit you well 2 Likes |

Salaries shouldn't be gender based, rather productivity should be yardstick for renomeration. Modern leftist are trying to twist what it takes man kind years of society experiences to achieve under the guise of equality, human right, hate speech and Co. We all know we are not created equal and we don't equaly posses same gift. There are some things that women can do better than men based on pure biology, psychology and other reason and one should expect women to be more productive in such aspect and therefore should earn more than men and vice versa. So this debate is hand work of extreme leftist who are behind change in societal order, they pushes feminism, LGBT, frame like evil patriarchy etc. 1 Like |

I don't think gender should be a yardstick for salary measurement.. You get paid for your services.. Some women are also breadwinners and have more responsibilities.. 3 Likes |

Men are more superior than women. Hence, women should definitely earn half the salary of men. |

This is the kind of topic feminists use to support their agitation for gender pay parity whereas no company pays lower wages to their female employees (companies who do such aren't profitable) because it makes no sense paying productive staff lower because of their gender. Companies pay base on productivity and qualifications, not gender. Here is the question: If companies actually pay female staff lower than their male counterparts, why are companies not employing only women? Remember that companies are always looking for ways to cut costs and improve their bottomlines. Why are there overall more male employees than females? Why do men earn higher than women across most industries? Even in women-dominated fields like teaching and cooking, men outearn women. So your question does not hold. P.S. The reason why men outearn women are because of basic biology and economics but since it is not the topic, I will pass. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bluewitch: But we can't have the same productivity, for the reasons already outlined above. For a woman to be as productive as a man, she has to sacrifice alot. Plus many women are too lazy to bother. They rather follow sugar daddy or depend on man for income |

Yes. Most jobs have a pay range. You also get a promotion and salary increase based on your productivity, qualification etc than based on your gender. But it's known that men are more ambitious than women. So are more likely to request higher salary, get more certifications and take on more responsibilities than women. They are also more competitive and take on more time consuming and difficult roles than women. Which overall make them earn more. But gender should not be a parameter for offering lower or higher salaries. Productivity matters. |
