Hello house, please I'm in a dilema and state of confusion right now and I need sound advise from experienced people here.

Me and my family supposed to travel two weeks ago but our covid 19 PCR test came out positive.

Though me and my spouse had malaria +1 and we are on malaria drugs and antibiotics given to us from hospital when we go for the test.
We have completed our Isolation and we have no symptoms whatsoever but when reading about retest online I came across a piece that said you can still test positive for covid 19 for up to 9 weeks even after recovery.

I want to go for another test this week and I'm scared.

For those that have gone through this kind of experience in the past, how did you do it?

Is there a kind of waiver for people who tested positive and recovered recently?

Is there another type of less sensitive covid test that is meant for people in this category and also acceptable by airline operators?

I look forward to your valuable advice.

It's a big lie that u will test positive of covid 19 upto 9 weeks after symptoms.

So how then are people discharged from covid centres, if they still test positive?

I know few people that have tested positive of covid, both mild and severe cases. A person can test positive today and next tomorrow the person will test negative.

What covid centres do in my location is to discharge people once the have 2 consecutive Negatives.
i e, if u test positive on Monday, then test Negative on Wednesday and another negative on Thursday, u are discharged. This is the experience of people I know personally that were treated at covid centres.

Go do your test, once your body has defeated covid, your result would come out negative.

It can take some 5 days to move from positive to negative. And another 14days, other 21 or more. It all depends on individuals immune system and treatment.

First off, why would you want to do risk all what you have done to get there. Yes, there is a fine of £10,000 if you break your quarantine. Please just maintain for the 10days

It's only in VI you pay for using the venue. Do not argue bro. It's very correct

This is false, It’s paid at all their centers.

yes I really had the masters in mind, but am trying to do for two, I barely have up to 4.5m and am also trying to assist my little cousin, he has been with me for a while and I owe him this, getting POF is not a problem for me, but someone is advising me to do the top-up degree to Bsc which takes a year and that it would be cheaper and since am looking at depositing 2k pounds, that it would go well, it's why am asking.
Go for top up degree straight. Am in for that also. Don’t stress yourself looking for schools that can get you direct masters with HND.

The 12m was not enough PoF for the family. That was the reason for the refusal.
iiiyyyk:

So sorry for this...

But please I still don't understand why it was rejected.
Was the N12m not enough for the maintenance of you and your family together?

Or was it because you answered No in your own application, if u are traveling together.

I was thinking funds can be in the account of any of the spouse?

Avoid agent applying for you. It can be risky. Most of them are after their money. Do your research well and gather all the information needed for the application. What you don't understand or can't get the answer here, ask Quora. If you must use an agent use a very good one. Dont put your future on someone's hand that has no rating. Ten years bank is not something to joke with.

What is the limit of the Naira Africard

Total of my IHS and visa fee is 2084.22 dollars.

I have read post above that that the limit for the naira card 5000 dollars. If this is true, 2084.22 should be within the limit

Please help confirm this

Again stop being petty, reading does not equal intelligence, some folks are dyslexic and does not mean they are not intelligent enough to undertake a course of study. It's in Nigeria we kill people with too much books and still nothing to show for it.

Hilarious. Just hilarious.

Sorry about this. I am confused as to you getting a refusal letter without your passport, thought the passport comes with the decision whether positive or negative.

Let's not just slam people off, at times our experiences and exposures are very different.
I had covid last year and within 2 weeks of treatment my result came back negative but there's a very senior doctor in our State who had covid and for more than 6 weeks her result kept coming back positive! And we cannot say when it became negative because she decided to stop taking the test because she was physically ok within 2 weeks of her initial treatment and there was no explanation for why her test kept coming back positive!
Let's just pray that theirs would come back negative next time.

. Please what advise have you got for someone who initially wanted to use the HND to masters route but was advised to instead do a top-up to Bsc course for a year and then continue to masters after, his budget is around 2million naira?

No real advantage of doing top-up. More so, you can't bring any dependent. It is wastage of one year of your life and money since you still want to do MSC.

The school fees of BSC AND MSC for international students is almost the same so your budget can't even reach anything. Even some school like Hull had a cheap tuition fee of 9000 pounds for MSC but their undergraduate is more expensive.

My advice is for you to get direct Masters admission so you can bring your dependent to help you out to work and pay your school fees as 2 million naira is nothing.

Third class holders and HND holders can get 1 year UK Masters admission directly. Check Howoheye and my post in the link below for UK universities that accept Masters with success story:

When you apply for UBA prepaid card, ensure you request that the bank increase your limit, because the actual limit is 2500 dollars in 24hrs. I am saying this from experience. Please be informed that the card is a Dollar prepaid card, you will sort for Aboki's dollars and pay into the account before usage.

I'm sorry but that's not totally true. Presently, NEVER YOU TOUCH YOUR FUNDS TILL YOU'VE GOTTEN YOUR VISA, or YOU'RE SURE UKVI HAS VERIFIED YOUR ACCT, whichever one is earlier. That is if you love yourself and value all the time and money spent. It happened to me personally, I think it's just chance that made me see it. I got a NSFM 3days after my application, reason was that the bank statement I uploaded wasn't clear and I was asked to reupload another one which I did. Next day, I got the email attached below, obviously in error cos it was intended for the bank, not me. When I replied the email, they apologized and promptly sent it to the bank. Read my story below.[/quote]
