[s] Redcrafton:[/s] Your duplicitous nature isn’t surprising considering you’re a Christian. Maybe it’s a mental illness. It is clear that after systematically shifting all development and productive factors to the South, the North is at the mercy of the South. While the North has the majority in consumer population who are the final bearer of the burden of VAT, the South has taken over the manufacture and other VATable services like import and export. It is only natural for the South to insist on states to retain VAT money which in reality both the Southern and Northern consumers paid for. Northern traders and their goods were burnt and chased out of the South withing reciprocal response from the North. Southern terrorist received trillions as amnesty, but Northern terrorists were denied a farthing. Northern herders are denied pasture in the South in the name of a new fangled policy of ban on open grazing, while Southern drug dealers, abductors of children, gun suppliers, substandard and over prized goods retailers are having a field day in the North. And now they want receive all the VAT revenue of which in reality is paid for by all citizens across the country, besides media and physical aggression in the bid to wrest political power permanently mindless of democratic norms. What shall we say about the frontline VAT issue? POLITICAL APPOINTMENT We all have the statistics of political appointees of the current Buhari administration. NW has 51political appointees from 7 states NC has 47 political appointees from 6 states NE has 45 political appointees from 6 states SW has 45 political appointees from 6 states SS has 45 political appointees from 6 States SE has 41 political appointees from 5 states These translate to: 1st. SE: 2.50 appointees in a million. 2nd. NE: 2.37 appointees in a million. 3rd. NC: 2.34 appointees in a million. 4th. SS: 2.14 appointees in a million. 5th. SW:1.63 appointees in a million. 6th. NW:1.42 appointees in a million. Alternatively: 1st. SE: has 1 appointee in every 400,000 2nd. NE: has 1 appointee in every 422,000 3rd. NC: has 1 appointee in every 427,000 4th. SS: has 1 appointee in every 467,000 5th. SW: has 1 appointee in every 614,000 6th. NW: has 1 appointee in every 704,000 Once again topping the list of beneficiary is South East with one political appointee for every 400,000 people. As if it is an intentional act, NW, from where the President hails has the least of 1 political appointees for every 704, 000 people while the figure for Osinbajo's Zone is 614,000 and is the least in the South. THIS IS NOT MY DEFINITION OF "MARGINALIZATION" BEING PEDDLED BY THE IGBOS THAT ARE, IN FACT THE BIGGEST BENEFICIARY IN NIGERIA. FIGURES DON'T LIE. The North is the single largest supplier of raw materials in all Nigerian industries, from food through agriculture and cloths to shelter through cements and other building materials available in the Northern rocks, including iron ores and ceramics. The North have Gold, Diamond, Tin, copper, gypsum, coal, magnesium, etc and even uranium all over the area. A liter of groundnut/cotton oil is more expensive than a liter of oil, and it has long industrial chain value , from pharmaceuticals, detergents etc. The cows that some few people condemn is over 20M in number in Nigeria, when properly harnessed and utilize, if a quarter of this number can produce a liter of milk a day, it means the North will have 5M liters of milk per day, each liter is N350, much more that a liter of fuel. This notwithstanding the endless value chain of milk processing in different industries. A cow, from its feeds to all parts of its body including its dungs is a source of value, thus a cow is a wealth in all ramifications. All we need is to harness its value. The north have river Niger, connecting all the way from Guinea mountains to, over Kebbi, Niger, Kogi and Deltas as it approaches the Ocean where it’s called the Niger-Delta. The North can still reach the ocean through Borgu to Benin republic down to Atlantic Ocean. More students from the North studied in the Benin universities than the indigenes of Benin and more Northern traders travel to Cotonou than any other Nigerians, hence a trade pact will be easy for the North. The North can dredge the River Niger through Benin and connect to the Atlantic Ocean or create a super highway through Niger Republic to Guinea down to Atlantic Ocean, thus the North have more ways to access the ocean than all other regions in Nigeria. The North controls the flow of the river Niger. If the North chose to erect a barricade for the flow of river Niger to the east, all the rivers like Imo river, Onisha river, rivers in the delta with drinkable water and fresh fish will cease and the water flow will dry up. |

If the North chose to erect a barricade for the flow of river Niger to the east, all the rivers like Imo river, Onisha river, rivers in the delta with drinkable water and fresh fish will cease and the water flow will dry up. The North have all the major forests in Nigeria, From Borgu Forests, to Felgore Forest, to Yankari Forest to Gashaka Forest to Sambisa Forest down, which have the longest stretch to Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya through central Africa. Thus the North have it all. The North have the river Benue, which flow through practically all states in the North eastern Nigeria to middle belt, flowing from Faro to Gerio to lake Doe & lake Chad, linking Cameroon & Chad to the east, Niger & Benin to the West, one of the longest River strings in Africa. The North have rivers in almost all the states, from Dadin Kowa to Tiga, from Numan River to Yobe river from River Taraba to River Kaduna, all these makes a navigable and irrigatable river lines that can sustain agricultural activities through all seasons. Out of the 78 million hectares of crop land in Nigeria, the North have 71 million, thus all food/cash crops can be produced from the North. The North have global natural allies, from Middle East & Israel, including the United States and Britain, in addition to China and Russia. I don’t know what the so-called secessionist guys are playing at, their hatred towards the Fulanis and everything North can be their greatest undoing once we pull out of the Union called Nigeria. Ibkhaleel: Yes the north is great and has a lot, but you should be autonomous, with your sharia and everything that will make you happy. Leave the south to do theirs. They say no to open grazing, killings and raping of women. You should accept that. just like the south has accepted your Islamic police destroying thousands of beer and yet you take VAT more than southern states. How is this fair to you? You have no business heading all Federal agencies like NPA, Customs, NNPC which are based in the south and yet keep FCT, NDLEA, EFCC to yourself. Only few northerners are honest and liberal to understand that if you want peace and unity, you should be able to include all others. Nigeria is not meant only for you northerners. Few northerners I respect for their liberal views are Umar Dangiwa Col, Balarebe Musa, Tanko Yakassai and Sanusi, Emir of Kano. 2 Likes |

[s] 9jah:[/s] I will surely disgrace you today... You have proven to me how dumb you are! Wawa half baked illiterate... Lets analyze and see for ourselves! 75% of government spending is connered by Southerners via the domination of salary earning, contracts, projects, bail outs and other interventions. Trade and industries are dominated by Southerners who have easy access to multi billion credit facilities courtesy their domination of state financial structure and instruments and institutions. Every ministry is dominated by them. All our markets are monopolized by them due to their control of capital that enable them to finance business and take more risk due to ease of acces to money. They conrol their markets by regular disruptuons of our businesses officially and by direct frequent violence unofficially. Their control of and easy access to liquidity enable them to be more enerprising business wise. They buy our goods cheap and sell theirs exorbitantly. To preserve the exploitative status quo they spread false verson of the reality. They centralize oil as the main source of wealth so that our attention will be far away from other sources of wealth they dominate. Oil is less than 10% of Nigeria's GDP. They tell us we are the parasite and we are lazy and we are uneducated to instil a sense of guilt, self hate and inadequacy in us. |

Ibkhaleel: When you say the north, it depends on those in the north that you refer to. Certainly some ethnic nationalities in the north have absolute peace with the rest of the country. But we know that the Fulanis have an issue with the rest of Nigeria, including the Hausas who are their closest kin. “Only northerners believe in one Nigeria”. I think that is to the extent that free money gets into the hands of northern politicians, who choose to subjugate others and hold the economy by the neck. Ask them about one Nigeria and they agree on restructuring with the south in the day and disagree when they hold their meetings in the night. “But try to visit university of Nsukka...”. Do not forget that the principal reason why a lot of our northerners have gone to school at all is the quota system that favors them. Admission into universities in the in Nigeria, including the south, is the prerogative of Jamb. You are at liberty to choose your preferred institution and when you pass, your admission is secured. Have you asked yourself why northerners do not choose university of Nsukka or any other southern university? When northerners fail to go to university and competition for admission is massive, do you expect prospective students to remain at home? Everyone is free to go to school in any of the states. The truth which you know is that a lot of our northern brethren choose not to go to school. “You hardly see a local government in the north without a church”. That is the same here in the south. The difference with the south is that there is a lot of religious tolerance. That’s why you can find Christians married to Muslims and you have families where some are Muslims and some are Christians. They all live in peace and harmony. In contrast did you not read in the newspapers two days ago how a Pastor in Kano was beaheaded by the youths because his church was growing? Can you give the count of how many churches have been burnt in the north and Christians killed? Nobody has chased any northerner away from any part of the south. Rather the northerners have carried their killing habits to the south. Their northern youth are the fruit sellers who pee on the fruits before selling. They wash the fruit in gutters before selling. They now dominate as okada riders in every village in the south. Who troubles them? None. All we ask for in the south is for our northern brethren to stop the business of kidnapping, butchering people, rape and forcefully taking over lands for grazing. All we want is peace and harmony. But when one tribe claims ownership of the country right to the Atlantic, do you expect other ethnic nationalities to moronically shut up? Think about it. 4 Likes |

Fulanis are dragging us backwards -Lack of education for women -Normads running our economy,Islamic agenda's not economic viable rational policies e.g borrowingoney to build a refinery and railways in Niger republic (idiotic) parochial ventures . Nigeria, a third world country in Africa, is known as the poverty capital of the world. The nation just exceeded India with the largest rate of people living in extreme poverty. In Nigeria, about 86.9 million people live in severe poverty, which is about 50% of its entire population. While the nation is smaller both geographically and in terms of population, it is failing at lowering the rates of poverty. This is partly due to the mismanagement of the oil business and the presence of corruption. Along with this, the nation is going through a “population boom,” which will make managing poverty rates more difficult. One of the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals is to end extreme poverty by 2050. However, Nigeria’s poverty rates are currently going in the wrong direction. Top Reasons for Poverty in Nigeria While Nigeria is known for its oil riches, the reality of the nation is that corruption, unemployment and inequalities have destroyed the nation’s economic framework, causing it to be the poverty capital of the world. Corruption: Corruption is the major reason why poverty is at such a high rate in Nigeria. In fact, many economist have declared that it is the “single greatest obstacle” that prevents Nigeria from prospering. Corruption is present in the everyday lives of citizens from businesses to the government. Consequently, poorer communities are suffering and the economic structure has experienced disruption. Unemployment: The high rates of unemployment also lead to extreme poverty. Unemployment typically exists among the younger population. In fact, only about 44.6% of young people have employment, leaving more than half of the population is unemployed. A major cause of unemployment is the fact that people tend to focus more on oil production rather than a variety of other industries. Not only does the country suffer from a lack of employment but it also suffers from a lack of development, progress and diversification of its industries. Inequality: Along with corruption and unemployment, another major driver of poverty in Nigeria is the presence of inequality within the nation. Nigerian women are subject to unequal treatment in terms of labor, education and property. While about 79% of women make up the rural labor force, they are the least likely to own their own property. Along with this, only about 6% of Nigerian women have achieved literacy, the rest are still illiterate. Inequalities in Nigeria are a result of poorly allocated resources and corruption. While Nigeria has plenty of resources, these resources are typically reserved for the wealthy who can afford them. Along with this, corruption within the government leads to further inequalities between the political elite and to those living in poverty. |

9jah:cheap propaganda sold to the guilible... Sometimes i wonder if the southerners think with brain or anus.... Lemme educate you From 1999 - 2015 (16 years) we did not hear Marginalization, Chritianization or Nepotism in Nigeria. The Igbos, their cousins in South South & Christians were in total control of the Federal Executive Council, the National Assembly, the Army, Police at some point, DSS & office of the CJN etc. In the 6 years of Jonathan, the Igbos alone where in total control of 85% of key federal executive & legislative positions as well as heads of strategic federal agencies & the Army. The North & South West did not grudge them nor made cricket noises about Marginalization, Christianization, Igbonization or Nepotism. They recognized that it's a party democracy that we are practicing in Nigeria & the party that wins share everything. PDP was winning for 16 years, so, Igbos & their PDP shared everything to themselves. The North & West bidded their time without grudges, remained consistent with their smart politics in the opposition & by 2015, they succeeded in taking power at the centre. The Igbos & their PDP, accustomed to power & looting of the treasury for 16 uninterrupted years could not believe they are out suddenly & could not imagine a life without the national treasury they enjoyed into emptiness for 16 years. The Igbo politicians, federal ministers, Igbo hitherto heads of federal agecies, elites, federal contractors, Ohaneze & their looting Igbo Clergy accomplices with nothing to show their people the Igbos for their 16 years control of the federal government & the federal treasury; their party PDP, with nothing to show Nigerians, with nothing to show the Igbos; now quickly regrouped in a massive propaganda of lies & self-delusional campaigns of calumny against Buhari, his administration & APC claiming Marginalization & a hidden agenda of Islamization, Fulanization & Nepotism. They regrouped from the pulpits, in Dubai, inside the bushes & forests around Nigeria with terrorists, bandits, armed cultists, IPOB & other insurgent militias to unleash terror & general insecurity in our land to cause mass discontent & insurrection against Buhari's APC administration because they have nothing as their achievement for 16 whole years to campaign with in any election in Nigeria. The question then is; at what point did the Igbos that own PDP, controlled the federal executive council, controlled the national treasury, controlled the army, controlled the police under Onovo, controlled the national assembly, controlled finance & the CBN, controlled majority of key federal agencies, controlled the Igbo states for 16 whole years & presently control over 50% of the properties in Nigeria including Lagos & Abuja, & till date control commerce in the 36 states of Nigeria become marginalised or enslaved by any other ethno-religious group in Nigeria? Buhari's APC administration had something to show to Nigerians in 2019 as their 4 years achievements. They will have hundred times more things to show Nigerians as their achievements come 2023. Even In Igbo land, Buhari's APC have hundreds of achievements including multi billion naira ultra modern highways, bridges, interchanges, airports, seaports, railway lines, power projects, refineries (the one in Ohaji already completed & producing), agricultural projects, industrial parks & help to Igbo businesses to make them global players today (Innoson, Anammco, Choscaris, Air Peace, Oliserve just to name a few) & Ziks Mausoleum etc to show Igbo electorates as their achievements for 8 years. Where is are Igbos who run PDP & government achievements in Nigeria or Igboland for 16 years they were in charge? For the past 8 years,Igbos & diabolic PDP have no logical, clear nor cohorent intelligent strategy to win back power at the centre or at least get ourselves back into the mainstream of Nigeria's politics. They are busy doping ourselves with infantile idiocy, making themselves a stench in the nostrils of other Nigerians with their juvenile insults, abuses & swearings that smacks of lack of home training. They have taken the most stupid self-defeating & self-annihilation path of killing themselves & SouthEast economy with the IPOB/ESN/Unknown Gunmen monster they are feeding, paying, equipping & covering. On the eve of 2023 crucial elections that will define the next 50 years of Nigeria, we are "sitting at home" while the West & North are strategizing. A sad shame indeed how a once thought intelligent people have allowed a selfish elite & their hired opportunistic conman - Kanu lead them by the nose into self destruction with lies & propaganda from the pit of hell to cover their 16 years of total failure & betrayal. |

9jah: "Muslims are terrible", they claim. "Muslims are terrorists" But I bet you, if you click the reaction to any bad symphatetic news report online, you will not find one Muslim reacting with a laughing emoji. They are happy that terrorism and killings are taking place in the country they are happy that police officers are killed. They always showcase their attitudes of lack of manners and home training. These same people will on the next trend claim Islam is a religion of violence and Muslims are violent. When you curse a person, the curse goes up to the heavens and return to you if the person is undeserving of it. All the insults on Prophet Muhammad,(PBUH) the Muslim community received during the Boko Haram insurgency has gone up to the heavens and came back to those who cursed us and they have all gone mad. 3-4 year's ago, nobody would have thought that some people in the South-East would take up arms and start mindlessly killing people, cutting off heads and then come on social media to celebrate and laugh over it. During the EndSARS uprising of fools, police officers were killed in the South, but in the East, they did not just kill officers, most of the ones they killed they mutilated and decapitated them thereafter. The only thing they did not do was to roast and eat them like the Sallah day massacre in Plateau in 2011 when some Plateau youths attacked worshippers on Eid day, killed, roasted and eat the dead bodies. It's just a matter of time, they will start eating the dead bodies of their victims as the curse spreads. It does not matter your grievances with a person or a people, if evil befalls them you cannot afford to be happy about it. To be happy for evil makes you evil. I can say I hate the "State of Israel" because I consider it a racist and apartheid entity, but if calamity befalls its citizens, I can not be happy. Your hate should be measured. Boko Haram became the monster it is not because Muslim scholars did not denounce their ideology, they did and some were killed for doing that. The ideology of hate and bigotry in the South East is there mostly because Christian leaders in the country encouraged it with their anti-North and anti-Muslim sermons and conspiracy theories. If this post offends you, I am sorry that is not my intention. If you are still angry after the apology, then I can not help you. AREWA VISION Arewa shall not be a tribal nation or a theocratic dogmatists nation like Biafra or Odua. Arewa is a modern nation of nations were Hausa, Fulani, Angas, Yoruba, Igbo, Jarawa, Kanuri, Nupe, white men, yellow men and black men coexist. Arewa is not a crusader nation like Biafra where those who do not practice the state religion will be killed and chased out. Arewa Republic is not ethnocentric like Odua where if a man does not bear Yoruba name is seen as a half human to be subjected to descrimination and set to be killed by elite sponsored tribal terrorists like Odua or cursed to die in the Lagoon by a tribal chief That is why we have half-Yoruba man as the Emir of Kano, the biggestst Kingdom in Hausaland. That is why Arewa was led in war during the Civil War by an Angas Christian, Yakubu Gowon. That is why the xenophobic tribalists of the west and the end time black crusaders of the east hate us and are doing their best to divide us and conquer. Come what may, we shall remain the richest in terms of resources and the largest in terms of population in Africa, Arewa is the heart of Africa. This is why the malevolent envious ones want to see it in chaos. We shall surmout the current troubles and emerge strong. We are the Phoenix that always emerges renewed from the ashes of conflagration. We have demonstrated our capacity to uphold minority rights despite the constants instigations of the minority by the tribo-religious extremists of the South. We shall in our independent nation secure human rights, religious freedom, minority rights, cultural autonomy and we shall efface the faces of induced terrorists. Let the bakwarward tribalists and neo-crusaders die of envy. It is a quetion of time and men of my vision to take over leadership. It is written and shall it be. #Hausa Up to the Seventies we were the richest people in Africa. As the central government grows and takes control of resources our wealth progressively dwindles. As the southerners intensify drums of hate and aggression we draw back to give peace, that is never forthcoming, a chance. 1 Like |

Redcrafton: In the whole 8years of OBJ's administration he did not see a single Hausa/Fulani northerner worthy of appointment as Service Chief, IGP or DG (DSS). Victor Malu, Martin Luther Agwai, Jonah Wuyep, Luka Yusuf, Ibrahim Ogehi, then IGP Tafa Balogun, Musliu Smith, Sunday Ehindero, Mike Okiro up to the DG (DSS) Col. Aare (rtd), were his selected appointees to oversee our security architecture. Where appointments were to be made from Kano or Sokoto (whole seat of Chaliphate) he would look for the Adamu Baikis, the Solomon Matankaris who are indegenous Christians of the area. If Hausas/Fulanis complained, Obj’s response was, “all the appointees were your people, brothers from the North”. Of course they were; he even used sme tactics to play a very dangerous divide and rule politics with northerners; his arrow - headmen, Jerry Gana & Solomon Lar were part and parcel of the Villa cabals, members of his kitchen cabinet who determined most appointment made by the government Agencies. Google all the very sensitive position then, there was no single Hausa or Fulani there. CBN, Joseph Sanusi later Soludo. Custom Buba Gyan, NNPC Edmund Dakoru, to mention just a few. Never forget that OBJ flushed out more than 500 soldiers of Northern extraction, from the ranks of Major and above, who held political appointments during the past military administrations, including orderlies and ADCs. Those who survived his hammer, like Bamalli Nuhu were assembled and bombed in the mountainous region; between Benue and Cross River States. Obasanjo’s civil service reform were mainly targeted at northerners who mostly, (80%) became victims; from NEPA,Maritime, NPA and Aviation etc. Northerners were major casualties. Similarly all the replacements that followed were from his kiths and kins, and his god sons. Prior to 1999, more than 15 international airlines operate or had their routes to Kano, but Obasanjo made sure he decimated that to only 3 before he left. Very very fresh in our memories is how he stylishly killed all the Northern textiles, groundnuts and cotton pyramids as well as many other agronomic economies; particularly the poultry using the hoax claim of “birds flu” conspiracy that obliterated all major players in the sector, from northern region. He also deliberately opened our boarders for the importation of all kinds of agricultural goods, which tactically killed virtually all local industries in Kano, Kaduna, Gusau to mention just a few. He stated and ensured DIC and Peugeot and Steyr plants became comatose.virtually all critical northern enterprises were put out of business with deadly attendant consequences. For example, in Kano alone there were more than 5000 factories / industries located in Challawa, Bompai and Sharada industrial estates. Before Obj’s tenure ended he made sure 80% of those factories folded up, and the remaining 20% were operating at half level, below minimal capacities due to his well designed, well executed, skewed economic policies. Remember the housing, monetization and privatisation policies he used our people to execute? This program was conceptualised and well executed to basically empower his kiths and Kins to owned choice properties in Abuja and Lagos. The privatisation was used to catapult cronies and surrogates, as well as God sons, into multi-billionaires. People like Mike Adenuga, Fola Adeola, Jimoh Ibrahim, Jim Ovia, Chris and the Andy Ubahs, to mention just a few. Most of these people were, prior to 1999, using night buses to & fro Lagos/Abuja. Incidentally within a span of short period, all were flying private jets, while the country, North in particular was rapidly sliding backwards. One can continue on and on; why the north and northerners tolerated all that, only God knows. The current clamor for self determination by some states from previous regions are nothing but blackmails that, to me, are dead on arrival. Rather than experiencing the Obj treatment again, it suffices if every single region go its separate way. The north can not afford to make the 1999 blunder again. Democracy is a game of numbers; anybody who thinks he/she is competent to lead us should come out and contest. The north is not ready to concede to any blackmail. The Igbos, their cousins in South South & Christians were in total control of the Federal Executive Council, the National Assembly, the Army, Police at some point, DSS & office of the CJN etc. In the 6 years of Jonathan, the southerners alone where in total control of 85% of key federal executive & legislative positions as well as heads of strategic federal agencies & the Army. The North did not grudge them nor made cricket noises about Marginalization, Christianization, Igbonization or Nepotism. |
