Production set up that Veto Power game for Cross to win. They calculated he would save Pere and Angel, WhiteMoney and Liquor would make it back by popular demand, and they would have just sent the rest home without event.

Cross failing to win threw a wrench in their plans, but Emmanuel salvaged it by picking Cross and Liquorose, so, they still had part of their Top 5 secure. Emmanuel was the unplanned event.

Pere is not as high up on their priority list, as WhiteMoney, Liquorose or Cross, to be honest, and like someone opined, he had ruffled feathers earlier during the show, so, why not ruffle his now?

This disassembling game however, was clearly set up for Pere to win, not for Angel.

Production always has a housemate in mind for every game they set up, hopefully, this game favours the person they have in mind.

You people are really just disappointed to find that Pere never actually bought what WhiteMoney was selling.

He noticed what was happening, he noticed the tides could turn against him, he saw he was gathering enemies unnecessarily and isolating himself in the house, and then Maria's exit made him realise they could have been doing things wrong, so, like any Master Strategist would do in the middle of a war he's losing, Pere switched tactics.

He played WhiteMoney's game. No be Peacemaker? He made peace, he started being more friendly, less antagonistic, and just like viewers bought WhiteMoney's market, they bought Pere's own too.


Really, what we should be doing is congratulating Pere for a game well played. The game is the game, give Pere his accolades abeg.
