For those requesting for Link to WhatsApp group, lemme tell u from experience how it will end.


You will occasionally get DMs from agents who like u joined the group to look for people whose visa will be delayed. Then After 3 days, the group will start becoming a den of silence as the average Nigerian mentality will seep through.Meaning, that people will start hoarding dates and will be less likely to share dates if gotten. Just to give u a simple idea: Compare the number of Accounts who are all of a sudden requesting for the group link to the number of accounts who have previously indicated anything about Visa.

The number of the Former is of course shocking. So what is going to make this people all of a sudden to start sharing info with there personal number ( Info they can't share on an anonymous Nairaland).



Finally , be careful of this groups and don't let ur expectations run high

I got denied and it’s definitely cause my sponsor was in the US. The VO asked if he stays in Nigeria and as soon as I said no. She just began typing and handed out the blue slip.
So I would like to know what happens if I change my sponsor to my mum after being denied is that another red flag? Or should I just sit this US thing out so I don’t complicate things

I'm sorry to hear about the denial but one thing I'll say is don't sit this US thing out. I don't know if this is your first but don't feel discouraged. I hope other people with insight on the sponsorship point will give their input. xx

Go ahead with your visa application. even though it's unlikely you will get a date before January, you can always request for emergency appointment 60 days before your resumption.

What does your sponsor do in the US, how did he get into the US and what is his status. These are the reasons for denial. Your sponsor being in the US does not directly leads to a visa Denial
