Hi Nikky, Why can't your hubby just come home and spend some time with you and the little baby so you can pause the SA VISA application process a little and maybe re-apply in the new year? It seems like you have put in so much effort going through this VISA process and you are not making much progress? Just a thought from me. Nikky1759: |

SafeHouse:Stellenbosch and Cape Town University do not require SAQA but the school fee is not a child play. It is better you find money and do the Saqa evaluation,if you don't have 40k rand upward for some programmes in these two schools. |

Hi folks, My brother is inviting my mom for a 10day vacation in South Africa. I just wanna know if he could email the documents and if they will accept them at the embassy or it's a must to send them via DHL or any courier services. Kindly advise. Thanks a lot |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Blurpy: 10:50am On Sep 28, 2021 |

Is SAQA a compulsory admission document to all schools in SA? |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by samtol4(m): 2:27pm On Sep 28, 2021 |
Jammyjammy:Most universities require Saqa. Stellenbosch and the University of Cape Town do not require saqa. |

Hello House, Is BTA (Basic Travel Allowance) still required to travel to SA on a 3 months visiting visa ? Those years, where you will have to have some dollars at hand before the immigration officers allows you to pass. Is it still applicable? or there are other ways to proof you have sufficient available fund for your trip? Thanks Guys. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by KazikageSama: 4:16pm On Sep 28, 2021 |
Yhamo: My humble opinion please. Just hold 1k rands in cash. others in kind. It's cheaper anyways. |

I just understood your question now. He can email the documents like invitation letter, passport data page, utility bill etc ,then you print here, since its visit visa, the requirements aren't much, then she will go to submit in person. Regards cessna150: |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Anu24: 7:40pm On Sep 28, 2021 |
cessna150:he must send the documents through DHL or any courier service and she will submit it in person at the Lagos or Abuja office,he should not email any documents because it has to be duly certified |

40k is not much....well maybe I will say for the course I applied to, because the school I found so far that offer that course has almost the same fee. But initially for 2 years is 50k rand. samtol4: |

shawnmich:Please, I need help on SAQA. I was offered admission and have commenced my studies already. I intend to travel to Rhodes University to complete the remaining 2 years. My issue is SAQA. I got a response from them but that my certificates have been evaluated and certified but the accreditation status of my university, Unilorin is uncertain to award Masters. Who is the third party to respond starting the accreditation status? I went to NUC, no response. Please help me with information. |

It depends. If you have enough money that can sustain you without depending on work, you'll enjoy your stay in SA. I said this because I've been there. The quality of life there is really good. Both SA and Turkey are not good to hustle in as a student. Turkey is better to study in, and it'll be easier to migrate to other better European countries like Germany, Poland,UK etc. If you are looking to pay your tuition and survive on part-time student jobs, I don't think it's a good idea in those countries. If you have enough money, Turkey should be your best bet! money1000: 2 Likes |

I have a question too. I have a temporary permit expiring by Dec 2023. Can I use it to apply to Canada for study by April 2023? Cc: Madejibo |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Saka5: 2:50pm On Sep 30, 2021 |
Blurpy: @Blurpy, so you are a temporary resident in South Africa right? Eish, imagine!! People should be extraordinarily careful when listening to advisers like you. All the best as you make efforts to leave SA on a temporary residence permit for Canada.

money1000: Turkey. Offers you better opportunities to move around Europe and get jobs after studying. SA Will not offer you anything o. Getting a pr or job after studying has now become extremely difficult, especially depending on the course you are coming to study. As a PR holder sef, I'm looking for a way out of SA. Better to be in Europe than to be in this African continent. My 2 cents. |

Nawa oh So you wanted to migrate to SA on a tourist visa? You still want to enter SA as an illegal immigrant! Bro, there's nothing worse than living in a foreign country without your papers. Those Nigerians who towed this path years ago are regretting their actions.Think twice before you leap, LEGITCHUDDY: 2 Likes |

Blurpy: What kind of SA temporary permit do you have? Work or study? Do you plan to apply from SA? That will put a lot of things in context. |
