This method works well for any niche but

1. Attorney or lawfirm
2. Rental niche
3. Real Estate Agent/ agency niches

This method makes alot of sense.


When you are on the website of end users. I used a picture for an example. Park law firm.


Usually we scroll down or go to the contact us page and get the mail there. check second pic.

With this method (which works fine) but we are at their mercy. And secondly nobody is going to put the decision maker of the company mail there.

What to do?

Click on the menu bar, check pic 3.
Now, the goal is to get to where the TEAM is listed.

Different websites abopts different method.

The popular one is.

1. Click on the menu bar
2. Click on the About us page: you will find their general bio there and the team members listed
On their team member you will observe they list and add the picture of their CEO or president.

Some other pattern, which is the one I used on this pic is that you will see the Attorneys on the menu bar. Click on that, it will bring the TEAM members.

3. For the popular one, Click on the president picture or name.
When you click on the name or sometimes the picture, it will take you to the CEO bio, scroll down to the end of the bio.

And there you will see the CEO MAIL ADDRESS
Sometimes the mail is always beneath the pictures of the CEO

if it is a one man business. You may see info@business.com this surely will lead to the deciosn maker or someone on top.


Advantage
Advantage of this is that you get to know the numbers of members he has on his team.

You will get to know his name and some insight into his bio. This can help you personalize your sale letter. Now it is left for you to craft a good sales letter.


With this method, I usually send mail to little number of businesses like 10-15 and I expect if not a sale, a response. And it has always work out. But this is not to endorse just getting little amount of mails. If it is 500 mails or 1million mails that works well for you. Scrap it.

Anybody interested should just test with one or two of their domains....it's a straightforward process

Here are some of the domain names I started with, I had to go on sabbatical when I couldn't make sales with my first 20 domain names back then. Perhaps I choose the wrong domain names or I wasn't patience enough. Majority of them have dropped now. I am left with just seven Sha.

Most of these domains were picked from ED and sold. I think the RaleighM.S sold fr $350.

And then he ends up closing his own company. Out of anger and spite, he sees that this "friend" has bought the .ca of his company name and so as revenge he goes to buy the .com domain. So after holding it for a few months or a year i think, he decides he wants to let it go.

So I request for the name of the domain, and also tell him that whatever we sell it for, we split 50/50 which he gladly agrees. So I set to work, with only one end-user in mind (his "friend". I send him a mail as usual, and he responds that he would be interested but only ready to pay $500. I start my negotiation from $2,988 after a lengthy negotiation battle, we settle for $1000. He pays a few minutes later. My canadian friend now gets skeptical about transferring out the domain because he thinks I might scam him. He begins to question me, and I let him know from the onset that I'm a Nigerian. This creates some doubt in his mind. But after a few exchange of words and even pictures (Yes, I sent him my picture of myself and my wife), He decides to take the risk of trusting me.

He transfers the domain as Dan has instructed and within 2 hours the money lands in my bitcoin wallet. Now I am not able to send him his share that same day. Am sure this must have caused him sleepless night cos he kept firing mails at me asking when he will get the funds.

Well, first thing the next day, I transferred his share of the money to him and as soon as he sees it, he is so elated and he responds with the message in the picture below and even promises to assist me whenever I am ready to relocate to Canada (Yes, I told him I have plans on relocating to Canada).

No, there nothing wrong with what you have done to make the sales and there are in order based on current realities.

What you did is called Social Proof and it helps to convince prospective clients to take actions that they were previously reluctant to take. So, keep doing it.

I took you comment with a pinch of salt when I first saw it. I said never it's not possible, I sent series of out bounds on those names and later let them dropped and expired. I checked, alas!!! One of the names was sold.

I was sad at first because I wish I was the one who sold the name. But I have come to realise that I still have what it takes to choose a domain name which has possibility of being sold ( I got all the names from ED).

Perhaps, I need to be more patience and keep out bounding till the last day the name will drop (I gave up after first 5 follow ups). I need to work on my believe system and take this business more serious than ever ​if I want to make it in this business.

Good to go back. In your own case I doubt it's an issue of belief system or impatience. Do you get responses from your Outbound to begin with?

Also, assuming you'd be disturbing people who willingly reached out seems to suggest you are soft on this business. I don't really know or have enough info to tell but the way I see domaining, I wouldn't take it like that.

This business quadrapules, sextupules (and even more) my job which pays more than the average salary. Maybe you are earning big in some other venture or so or maybe he's been supportive. I can't tell.

Seems you are a soft domainer aka part time domainer. And being a soft domainer isn't bad as long as you are getting EMDs or into brandables.
