I don't see anything wrong with IVF, I think people hide it because of discrimination.
You don't want your children to be seen as Zombies, So is better the entire thing should be between the parent and doctor not even extended family should know we just have this African mentality, something bad may happen to the husband and in the near future the family might come to take all properties saying the children are not genuine.

Fews years ago on this forum,one sweet adorable blunt lady from the TTC thread had twins or triplets I really can't remember again,but I love the fact that,she came out opening saying she got her kids through surrogacy.

My love for her tripled.

That's is why many Nigerians suffer in silence, because those who have gone through the same process instead of showing others the way, will just say it's "God's grace." While not in any way trying to disregard the influence of God in the process, I believe it will be much more beneficial to your audience if you actually let them know the procedure you went through so that they too can decide to go that route if they can afford it.

There are things overwhelming majority of Nigerians don't feel comfortable being open about issues such as IVF, Surrogacy, mental health issues, Caesarian Section etc.

it is due to the socialization but some Nigerians are becoming bold enough not to feel shame about their journey and feel a sense of release sharing their stories.
