Thank you Doc! Always on hand to provide unbiased analysis

TheSuperNerd:
Not trying to defend Musa's continuous call to the NT which is obviously to ensure he bags beyond 101 caps and set a new NT caps record but I only want to correct the fallacy below.

Ahmed Musa has started 6 league games for Fatih Karagümrük before today. Today, he is in action again from the start (7 starts in 7 league games) and have already bagged an assist with his side up 3-0 after 40mins+.

Musa is no bench warmer in Turkey and Fatih is not the worst side in Turkey.

With those said and corrected, yes, I understand we have better players than Musa going forward but as he is Captain, it is always gonna be hard sidelining him. The politics of the Glasshouse are in his favor. An almost every Skipper of the Super Eagles have been given special treatment in one or more forms from Keshi to Oliseh to Okocha, to Kanu, to Yobo, to Mikel and now to Musa.

But note this, Musa averages 86mins per game in Turkey. He is no benchwarmer.

Rohr should've used this opportunity to call up some of our upcoming AMs in Europe. Disappointing.

Creative midfield doesn't exist in Rohr's dictionary. Only defence, defensive midfield and attack. Little wonder he has to rely on kick-and-hope anywhere-belle-face long passes from defence

What does Rohr has against midfielders? I really dunno..
Since he became coach, all his squad list are always choked with defenders and forward... Less effort have been made into injecting more creative midfielders into the team...

Osimhen has exploded so much this season that he has become a benchmark for strikers.

Former Juventus striker, David Trezeguet,

"Chiesa is not a striker, that's for sure. He loves space, he likes to start from the sidelines, he will never be an Osimhen. For me, he is an outside player or a second striker."

God bless you bro didn't know you noticed this as well I became frustrated and just abandoned the match after the first half dey just ignore his side of the pitch and in some cases where he was clear on goal they still didn't pass to him and even one fool got a yellow card after running like a headless chicken while oyenkuru was waiting for the pass to just run on goal and get a good shot on target or play a decent Cross in angry angry angry yet some people who doesn't follow olympiacos game will come here and say oyenkuru isn't performing

The fact he is getting into good positions is a good thing. The team will begin trusting him in time.

Do we blame Rohr for not inviting attacking midfielders or blame our system for not producing attacking midfielders?? If you were Rohr, which attacking midfielder playing now consistently would you invite? Our next generation coaches need to create attacking midfilders

To summarize how biased Rohr is, Musa and nwakaeme plays at the same league, go and check their stats at the same league and ask yourself who deserves a senior team invitation? Some people will say, Musa scored 2 goals at the World Cup and my response is, should we invite players solely based on what they did in 1 game. Anyway, let Rohr not reach ANC final or win ANC, he has to go.

I am happy we called up Calvin Bassey and for those that are complaining that he can't displace Barisic, Barisic is a starter for Croatia and Bassey has kept him at the bench for the most part of this season

D only reason musa is been invited is simply because he's d captain..d day he cease to d b captain of d team officially, he will stop getting d invites cool

Nwakali and Amoo can play that role , especially when we are short of options in that area. And, please don't come with the usual stale argument you guys pull when you have not point to make, because Nwakali and Amoo are currently playing for their respective clubs. If you can invite inactive players and players in lowly rated leagues then you have no reason to ignore Nwakali and Amoo.

Osim Baba is an African, we are naturally stronger and faster than Caucasians, therefore Osimhen's energy should not be questioned. Maybe I am biased but when was the last time a white person won 100m race in track and field....abeg , make them test that Italian!

You guys should stop mistaken Creative forwards i.e kanu as a midfielder. Amoo is not a number 10 and as for nwakali, I feel like his league is an impediment on his invitation. If he starts playing consistently at La liga, he would be invited. (Personally I will invite him now)

Akinwunmi Amoo is a proper midfield controller who can play a 10 and right midfield. He is not a winger nor a support striker. He is even listed as a Midfielder at Hammerby IF. So, what is your point?

On Nwakali, first they criticized him for being clubless but when he started playing the complain shifted to he should move to Laliga, whereas Rohr is inviting people from Maltese and Turkish league. These are league people labeled "backwater." Wasn't Kingsley Michael who is without club invited in the last meeting and even started. Do we have integrity around here?

You are right but still doesn't change the fact he wasn't exactly flavor of the month during that period with the SE pre-World Cup

His performance at CSKA Moskva showed that he still had it at the time, he was scoring in most of those games and gaining the fitness needed.

Who would have gone to the WC in his place? Moses Simon and Onyekuru were injured at then.
