They have proven to have great business skills both legal business and illegal business. We should not let politics deny the whole country the business skills of the Igbos. I don't see him losing his supporters, I see him splitting Buhari's votes in the NE, NW and NC because he's fulani and still has his political roots and structure intact inspired by Shehu Yar'Adua and built over decades of being active in politics. You mentioned Buhari's CPC coalition, was Katsina not a PDP state until 2015 even with Buhari's CPC? As far as I know, the only name that gets block votes from some northern states is Buhari and there is no evidence that those block votes are transferrable to a southerner running against a Fulani man. Take Kano for instance, they voted Kwankwaso (PDP) at the state level while voting for Buhari at the Federal level in 2011, Buhari’s votes did not trickle down to the state CPC candidate, this should tell you something about 2023 when Buhari is off the ballot and power deals get brokered.
