Which Is Better To Live In - USA Or UK? by MaestroJosh: 10:07am On Oct 02, 2021 |
There has been a lot of emigration abroad lately, especially to the UK. And some questions keep on resonating in my head as a prospective emigrant; Is there something beautiful I'm missing about the UK that makes me not be fascinated about relocating there? Or Is USA generally better in my own opinion? I need you guys contributions pertaining to housing, security, education, health care, insurance, family values, work-life balance et al in the UK and US. Thank you so much as you contribute your small but valued opinion. |

MaestroJosh:uk is allowing students from Nigeria in mass, what happens after graduation is not certain. But Nigeria is currently hell fire so people will take the chance. Been taking nurses, doctors and accountants too of recent. Usa has a large population and not really needing people like that. |

U.S. is my preference but it's easier to enter UK through study route especially the visa. UK's health care system is affordable unlike the U.S. All in all your preference towards things will determine your choice. |

Depends on who you are, where you are coming from, your abilities, and your goals. You are comparing capitalism with socialism here. |

I will advice you if you have the money go to UK through school since it is the easier route, study very hard graduate with at least 2:1. Get the 2 years psw visa, try to get a work sponsor. If it proves impossible you can apply to USA, for PHD they are usually fully funded and also comes with livable stipends. While studying you can continue applying for jobs that sponsors green card, if the jobs are not forthcoming you can look for a citizen that you love to marry. Note: it is easier to marry a citizen than getting a work that sponsors green card. |
