Wear your seatbelt and don't buy gala and lacasera from those vendors through the windscreen, the last one I bought no sweet

Buy chewing gum or hold a bottle of water as you may need to be swallowing saliva to keep your ears open immediately you hear the crew say fasten your seatbelts as we are about to start descending, you may suffer Tinnitus (a whistling sound in your ears as if your head wants to burst) as a first time flyer which can even cause you headache as the cabin gets highly compressed and pressurized.
This is done to balance gravitational forces as the plane descends to protect passengers and crew from hypoxia.

Just be yourself. Listen and follow instructions. Also, try not to be the first on whichever queue, so you could see how others (regular fliers) do it. Lastly, you may wish to watch YouTube videos on how to fasten an airplane seat belt. Have a nice experience and safe flight. This is the first of many.

I will imlore u to be calm, when u get to airport, locate the counter of the airline u booked, u will be given boarding pass and ur loads will be weighed and tagged. Ur laptop should be in ur hand luggage. U will now proceed to the departure lounge, carefully listen to the announcement of ur flight. All the information needed is on ur ticket and the airline staff will be on ground to help u.

The watch word is calmness.

Anyway try to lick sweet when the plane is descending so that the change in air pressure won't affect your ears. (You may have issues for like 3 days in one or both ears. You may not be able to hear properly withheld affected ear.) Cheers

Just be bold and vigilant so everything you see the passengers doing, you can do too. Eg how to wear seat belt. grin

Who talked about getting a job at Arik?
Arik is a useless airline. Book them and they'll cancel your flight without refunds. To get a refund takes forever after all manners of deductions.
They have several cases in court cos of that.

Nothing much about it

I guess you are flying economy

When you enter the aircraft, your right side will be ABC & left side DEF

Locate your appropriate seat number, sit down and use your belt

Switch off or turn your phone to flight mode please

The crew will tells you some safety measure with demonstration

Nothing much about travelling via air but it's very awesome experience cos no traffic or stress unlike road transport

you will always see hawkers on air selling popcorn, puff puff and the likes

they don't give change so make sure you have change on you on 50s and 100s denominations

My only advise.....
Your boarding pass contains your sit number (e.g. 15A). Use it to locate your sit.

Well, nobody or company is 100% perfect. I flew Arik last month and no issue although a bit delayed for like 1hr

Our backgrounds are so diverse we must appreciate the battles of others.

My question is, why do you see it as a victory? I avoid flights at every slightest opportunity. I'm sure my background is not any better that his, or yours, but flying on a plane has never been something I craved nor enjoyed, even before my first experience. It's just another means of transportation, and I wonder why it could be considered a victory. A month ago, I went on a 12-hr trip by bus, something I could do by plane for 1 hr, 30 mins, but I simply wanted to avoid flights. So, why do you consider it a victory, whether for him or for anyone else?

The first time i traveled via air, when the plane landed it was like i went deaf. Till after like a minute before i got back my hearing.
