Well, nobody or company is 100% perfect. I flew Arik last month and no issue although a bit delayed for like 1hr

Airpeace have the most delayed flight records. Walaihi

It's an enjoyable experience. I love the speed before take off and the uplift. If you are not afraid of heights, then I hope you get a window seat so you can enjoy the view during take off and landing.Just relax and flow with it. Enjoy. Come back and tell us how it went.

Oh, listen carefully for when your flight is called. Our Nigerian flight announcers sometimes talk like they have hot yams in their mouths or a heavy cold.

The phobia is always there whether is your 1st or 20th.
I have traveled by air a few times and every time the plane takes off, I panic.

Get an headphone, when the plane is about taking off, plug in the headphones, close your eyes and loud up your favourite song. Within 2 to 5 minutes, plane must have reached it's maximum altitude. You can then unplug and relax...
Landing isn't that scary as compared to taking off.

And don't forget, almost everybody in there is scared too, but they'll all be acting like Commadoes, if the plane shake small or take a sharp turn, Na so everybody go turn prayer Warrior.

Trust me, its not as scary as you currently feel. You will eventually be amazed at the whole flying experience.

he is not just travelling by air but travelling for the first time, its adventurous when doing something like this for this first time

1. Put all your valuables in your hand luggage - hand luggage, the one you are carrying into the plane.
2. Carry your laptop with you.
3. Carry an Identification card with you, preferably voters card or Nigerian passport - staff ID Card is okay too.
4. You can check-in online, but to be on the safe side, do so at the airport before you cancel your flight by mistake.
5. Keep your eyes on your bags at all times, don't be rushed by anyone.
6. Check-in closes 30 minutes to flight time for those who don't have a bag to check-in.
7. Check-In closes 45 minutes to flight time for those with bags to check-in.
8. No food and drink except is offered in planes at the moment (local flights), so eat well at home, don't bother sleeping, you can sleep on plane - be mindful of your phones and valuables...money heist takes place on the air too.
9. Keep your luggage tags without which no man shall leave with his bags...wear ya face mask completely while boarding...remove it from your nose when you're on the plane so u don't suffocate.
10. Pray...have a safe first flight !
