Thanks for this.
Felicity, this will be the best route to go if you intend having contribution with anyone.

It's good that it's regulated by a reliable app.

You see why constructive critism is good? I haven't seen or heard about this b4 I made my previous post on the subject matter.

I'll check this out to know how it works.

First thing, food crumbs, that fall into the crevices attract insects esp roaches. Avoid food crumbs in the car, then 80% of the prob is solved.

Buy Rambo insecticide, spray at close of work @ night.
Get a good air freshener ( that is not pungent) that has insect repellent on its label.

You're right about food crumbs.

That won't get rid of the roaches,
Richhard .. Either fumigate with sniper (i don't recommend this cuz it can damage your nice interior) or use GREEN LEAF
Just buy 2 and put the powder in strategic places where you won't have to wash it away when cleaning the car

I hate sniper odour, I'll try this green leaf, thanks.

What can I use to kill them for life? Thanks

Buy Those green sachet iñsecticides sold 50 or 100 naira, the perform wonders when it comes to roaches.

B4 all those problems kicks start be must have sold thw car like the Hyundai was sold to another person. The new owner can do an engine replacement.

So I don't see it as a big problem like you are always making it to be.

So chill boss and slack my good friend some breathing space.

Inbtw, why do you always chose to ship in more expensive products I mean oil and the new items Freon gas when there're other once that suits our Nigeria economy.

Take for instance, the 5w30, 10W30 or 10W40 (I may not fully know all the categories) full synthetic to me is the best oil for Nigeria weather because we do not have freezing temperature like Europe and America has and I want to believe these oils are more affordable than the 0w20 or 5w20 or 5w30.

Also, the gas you shipped in to menis quite expensive honestly, I understand the high cost of forex and shipping cost but you could have at least get the smaller bottles instead of those big once which can slash the price into two. Besides it's saver to have the smaller bottles because AC system is a trier and error thing, if there's leakage after coupling you loss ur gas or there's any issue afyer filling you loss your gas... This is why AC technicians prefer that their big bottle refillable gas to reduce these loses but with this big bottle you have once it's open you can't keep it again. One can risk losing one small bottle than everything.

I don't know if I'm making any sense at all

1.
Below is the Hyundai that I sold. I sold it on nairaland. It had no issues at all . They buyer is a frequent reader on my post. When the buyer came he saw the car and he bought without much questions. He stated that he knows that I take care of my cars... And I told the buyer to always use the correct oil and use coolant at all times........ This is when I was moving fully to Honda civic cars........

**** buyer that bought this ELANTRA****** feel free to comment if you are reading...........

2. The oil part... Keep in mind we have same weather type in Nigeria in the USA. Texas, Las Vegas, Florida etc . Oil manufacture take into account weather, Terrain conditions before making cars or oil ........it is imperative that car owners follow manufacture advice all the time.

Most engine oil are multi grade oil . meaning these oil can lubricate in either extreme tempt or very cold tempt.

They are design for that purpose. Regardless thicker oil will not lubricate faster enough at start up like the recommend oil. Thicker oil will have to get to enough operating temperature to able to lubricate enough. Thinner oil or oil that is recommended by the manufacture takes less time . takes few seconds to lubricate moving parts of the engine...... Kindly follow owners manual on oil weight......

3. The reason why most people a/c compressor don't last long . This is because most gas used in Nigeria are either fake , or are not 134Ra . Your car specify what type of gas is needed . Just like engine oil , people will ignore owner manual and use something cheaper. This why u have people converting Automatic compressor to manual etc .........

Yes 6k naira might seem expensive for a/c freon. But you save money and headache in the long. The local ac gas that cost 3k naira . do you know how many times you will have to top the gas each year . some top theirs at least 3 times or more. Than are u really saving money ?

When using the manufacture recommended freon that cost 6k naira. A good a/c. Tech will vacuum and clean out all the dirt and oil from the compressor. By doing this the new freon will not be contaminated. By following these rules your 6k naira freon should last you few years or at least 1 year.........

This new freon that I do sell . it is called self sealing. The old types once the are open you will have to use it all whether u need the whole can or not . The ones I have are self sealing device.

Meaning you only use what u need and still save the rest for another time. This method was develop to safe the ozone from gassing it up and populating it .

@felicity, I'm not countering your opinion or submission, I'm only advising people. I don't know much like you guys, I only just advice based on my little life experience.

Most Nigerians act funny when it comes to money matters. They collect easily and when it's time to give back, it becomes difficult. Most people have dubious mindset. There are better ways to saving money, not contribution. If one can develop the habit of contribution, then one can also develop saving in a bank with the mandate I explained earlier. You can never withdraw till the date signed on the paper.

The road accident logic cannot be used to judge this.....because you have a better, cheaper, safer option. If train system was well developed in Nigeria, a lot of Nigerians would prefer that to roads. In developed countries like USA, UK, Canada, etc, majority uses train. They leave their cars at home to catch a train to work.

Saving your money in the bank is a better option. It's not about owning a car.....anything can happen at anytime! I wouldn't want to speak further about this. Thanks for understanding

Yeah I understand and appreciate your concern about this after all we are all here to watch each others back apart from some who are here for evil intentions but las las God no go shame us.

Thanks for your input, had you not come out open chillex8 wouldn't have come up with a better option.

Besides that's not the color of elentra I was even referring to... Lets not go into all of that now pls but I'm sure you know very well that using full synthetic doesn't guarantee 100% engine maintenance or prevent engine 100% against smoking or knocking. Unless you wanna tell me you guys in the US or Europe never encounter these problems.

Permit me to sir let's not even go into why AC technicians advise a manual compressor convertion over an automatic. The manual compressor is more reliable, rugged and more durable than the solenoid compressor. You and i know the cost of replacing a solenoid compressor, even the solenoid itself doesn't come cheap and even if you can afford it its still doesn't guarantee a long duration after being changed.

The manual compressor on the other hand can be managed, the clutch alone, pully, or any other components can be replace when gone bad, it can withstand high pressure gas all of these the solenoid compressor can't so once it goes bad? That's the end of it and getting a genuine one can be very difficult and pricey. So you wouldn't advise such for a business man would you?

Sorry sir! sorry sir!! we do not have winter over here in Nigeria so why say Nigeria and USA has the same weather conditions. Winter like we all know is an extreme weather condition that may result to a total coldness less than 0°c (freezing point) and even -4°C (the point when water totally becomes ice). I do not know the freezing point of Mobil 1 but I'm sure it not 10°C. some countries or states in Europe, America, Australia among others can even experience -8°C... the coldest weather we have experience here in Lagos Nigeria is above 14°C to 17°C. Though the north region, Pleatueu state for instance can experience temperature above 2°C so using a cheaper viscosity oil like the 10W40 (especially in Lagos State) shouldn't be a problem at all because at this point the oil hasn't frozen up to move around the pores of the engine.

My point which you're not addressing is, why not ship in these oil which are also very okay for our Nigeria weather and way cheaper? You claim in one of your posts that you consider our pockets but I don't see that happening in any ways because you and I know very well how difficult it is to break the bank to buy a Mobil 1 like I just did for my car few days ago even though you won't ship in what was recommended for my car (10W40) cheaper and affordable, reason best known to you because i don't see how these affects your profit margin

On the bolded part...... If by an chance the car manufacture felt that the Automatic compressor was a failure on their cars . by now am sure they would have switch over to manual compressor...

Now some of these cars that were using Automatic from 2004 till date , would have switch over to manual compressor by now.......

This car was snatched yesterday night at Festac.
Offline trip from Glover, Ikoyi to Festac town. Thank God driver is alive and safe but if u have any information about the car kindly make contact.

~Curled~

Guys, let's be extremely careful. That car is less than 3months old. Unfortunately the car doesn't have a tracker, this is an opportunity to reemphasize that one of the requirements for a car to be on the road on ehailing is having a tracker. This is non-negotiable. If u don't have money for the online one, do d one that u need to press a button each time u open d door or turn off ignition. Very very important.
