How I sent my Passport to Abuja.

I did my Biometrics in Lagos but I sent my passport to Abuja,
So I had to pay a transmission fee of NGN 8,920 to this account
CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION ACCOUNT (a/c no 0065165839) sterling bank.

I bought a fresh brown envelope and added the following documents, so follow:

- Your International Passport itself (That your passport !!)

- Print only 1 copy of the transmission fee payment receipt and put in your envelope

- 2 copies of your passport data page (I printed it in colored copy)

- Those stapled papers that was given to you after the completion of your Biometrics (put them as it is [original copy] not the photocopy)

- The PPR letter (1 copy)

- 1 copy of the Consent form (I filled and signed the second page only) . Download the consent from here: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/dominicanrepublic/pdf/Consent-Form-TTS-English.pdf

- A plain sheet of paper where you can write your address and phone number (this is not really needed though, but I added it)
NOTE: I paid for 2 ways Courier at DHL and insured it to and fro

2 courier means: As I am sending my passport to Abuja, I want Abuja to send back my STAMPED passport to the address I stated on the Courier.

SeuntoTheWorld:
please what am I meant to do after passport request?

Thank you so much. I find this helpful. You are right i relate more to HSE than Agric.I dont reside in nigeria but i have home ties in nigeria. I am planning to apply in Nigeria
Lekiboboe:

My own suggestion

Based on your Study gap, you can't go for an Agriculture related program.

It's advisable you go for something related to your 7 years work experience.

Do your research on the following PG.CERT/Post Degree programs, check the program overview, course curriculum (course outline of the program) admission intakes, tuition amount for international students etc. then apply for the one that suites you based on your work experience

Occupational Health, Safety And Wellness
Conestoga College, Kitchener, ONTARIO

Occupational Health & Safety Management
Lambton College, Sarnia, ONTARIO

Potential Documents needed to apply for admission in a College for PG. Cert program

Since you are going for a Program not related to your degree, but related to your work experience, go through the contents in the link below

In all of these medical appointment issues, IOM Abuja is the most flexible as long as you have Medical Request from IRCC, a space would definitely be provided for you before the 30 days. But most importantly, people should prioritize upfront medical and not wait for the request to come.
I already booked my medical upfront even though I have not applied for visa,I want to gather all my documents before applying,is it advisable to do d medical before application?
I also want to ask if I have to go there with birth certificate?

I just got back from Apata division. I did one but it didn’t include my biometrics. My agent said I’ll need one with my biometrics.

GIC PALAVA

Good day, all.

Please, I need your help.

I opened a GIC account with a Canadian Bank. I was sent an account to pay to latest by Wednesday this week.

I have tried to open a domiciliary account with GTBank and Zenith to no avail.

I have operated a savings account with GT Bank for more than 15 years now. I thought as an old customer I'll be given some consideration, but I was wrong.

I went to Zenith, the same story. The Manager said he has no powers to open a domiciliary account, only the head office does. That even if he forwards my application, it will not be approved.

I know people have gone through similar challenges before. Please, how did you go about it.

I await your responses. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello there, guys. Since landing in Canada, I haven't had the opportunity to post my Landing Gist. I'm working on making it a visual so that people can see the entire process, which I recorded.

Here's a quick summary; you might want to subscribe to my channel because I'll be bringing you more useful content about going to our dream land

Hello Romoke

Please go do an upfront Medical, that is if your previous medicals is over a year..
After doing your medicals, you will be given a slip at the clinic, make sure you submit this slip to IRCC through a webform or email..

Find below the list of IRCC approved Medical centers..

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

IOM is 46K
Qlife is 40k (with the exception of a change in the Price)

Peace

Already booked my medical upfront (nov10) someone told me it's not advisable but I said I'll come to nairaland to ask people with better ideas,I haven't applied for visa yet but am gathering all my documents and trying to pay part of my tuition so I'll definitely apply by Jan.
Should I go ahead with my medical?

Based on your Civil Servant job in the Taxation department, there are lots of ACCOUNTING in TAXATION, so you might want to check for Accounting Graduate Programs. My niece got her PPR today. Her application was given to an agent to assist her by her parents since i was very busy back here, unfortunately she got a charged back leading to procedural fairness submission in August and this made me to take total control of her application. Am sharing to encourage someone who is in the same situation.
