Is it possible for a scan to miss a fused placenta in the early stage of pregnancy?

Can the sex of one twin be hidden or show wrong gender?

Hello mama, remember me from the other thread? I'm experiencing severe food aversion as such can't eat so I went to the hospital and bco was prescribed for me and since Saturday that I started using it, my appetite is back and the aversion bearable. Go to the hospital for professional guidance or take bco once a day.

For the gender is quite common. The baby may refuse to turn or open her legs. Female fetus are known for this.

But you can always get a second opinion whenever you are not comfortable with your scans

My first scan showed both babies sharing a single anterior placenta.. did first gender scan and it showed both xx. Did a confirmation scan around 24 weeks.. both xy, seek for another opinion.. boy/girl .. I just got confused like this o..

I know boy/girl don’t share a placenta and that is what all my scan has been showing since hence my questions!

At 24 weeks if you are still seeing one placenta then you are having identical twins. U have one placenta not a fused placenta.

Concerning the genders. The accurate gender s normally show from 20weeks to 30 weeks.
If you have it earlier. It is either the machine is really powerful. The resolution and all.

The baby has a prominent organ.

The sonographer must be really experienced or the baby just wants to be nice.

At earlier weeks . the gender is still forming so chances of a misinterpretation is higher. At later weeks that is above 30 weeks. Thank baby is probably big and occupy space and needs more manvouering to get a glimpse of the organ.

I suggest u still confirm again. Maybe at your next appointment. I will probably believe 24weeks more though.

Hello Ma'm, please see your Dr, mine is not intense and not all over my body, it's just mainly my legs and occasionally my upper arm

I noticed it happens after bathing so i had to stop bathing with sponge and also stopped washing my legs with soap or even rubbing it during bath time i also only dab water off with my towel otherwise if i drag the towel over my legs it starts to itch badly and nothing stops it, no cream, oil or even diluted ACV stops until it runs it course.

Please see a Dr don't wait until the normal 12weeks for antenatal registration

It is true you won't be registered but for antenatal not regular visit as in this situation. I met some pregnant women who came for treatments for malaria and anorexia(as in my case) and we were all attended to. Go to a hospital you've registered with before and let them attend to you on this and you can later choose the hospital of your liking for antenatal.
And yes, bco is bcomplex.
