Phoenixflap:
The trajectory of the IPOB is akin to a cruising ship without a captain, and the consequences is dire.

IPOB cannot achieve sovereignty on a platter of gold nor through violence, but through Soft Sell, their agitation will bear positive fruits.

Through democratic process, a lot can be achieved for IPOB, a whole lot.
It is in the interest of IPOB to participate and ensure that garner enough social and political capital.

Election is closer, Maduka and Soludo are closer to the people because “They needed the Vote”.

More than half of Nigerian labor force is unemployed or underemployed according to a Bloomberg report

The lackadaisical and clueless direction of this present administration has sunk our economic ship deeper, and regrettably no recourse is insight unless the status quo is disrupted.

Like wages, Loyalty is earned, and the latter, though earned , sometimes can be beyond costs.

Two types of loyalty exist according to my classification; induced and reciprocated loyalty.

I’ll give two glaring examples.

Reciprocated Loyalty!

Pastor Rapu aptly captures the loyalty of his admirers through his numerous life changing encounters, pastor Rapu provides lifetime benefits. This kind of loyalty though social, can be translated to political capital, and if scaled, is a deafening political roar because of the inherent multiplier effect.

Induced Loyalty!

Our democratic scenery aptly captures this category, and one character whose pendulum of existence swings on this principle of loyalty is FFK.

The consequences of obtaining this kind of loyalty has far reaching consequences and no multiplier effect.

A sizeable number of the unemployed or underemployed can be catered for through novelty, and naturally the principle of reciprocity comes in play.

This goes beyond buying bikes and tractors as palliatives or empowerment as prevalent in our polity.

To change our sordid narrative, we must collectively be able to say “NO” to politicians Trojan horses and to say “NO” a thriving economic environment must be ensured.

This is not achievable under this present government, but highly probable with the “Pastor Rapu’s Effect”.

I know how to achieve this on a larger scale.

Wrong. IPOB is probably currently being led by an individual much more crafty and charismatic than Nnamdi Kanu. Someone you may not even guess has anything to do with IPOB. This individual knows what he is doing and will be VERY hard to conatain.

Amnesty International condemns the increasing violence across southeast states that is endangering lives. We condemn assassinations and attacks on government and personal property. We note with grave concern wanton killing of civilians and security personnel.

If INEC dould conduct election in Edo amidst COVID-19, they don't have any excuse to deny Anambra their Civic right.

Question is, who will do the voting? The people won't come out to vote - some out of loyalty to IPOB, the rest, out of fear

The killing rate is high, yet INEC and govt is still deliberating about election, it's so saddened Govt is acting nonchalant about the current situation of the state...

Election should postpone, let govt settle insecurity in the State first.

Hence more innocent blood will be shared in the state...

Oh Lord Let peace reign in Anambra state, Let those carrying out evil agenda be brought to book...

No election in the holy Land of Biafra are you people deaf?

Over 61 years of voting no 24 hours electricity in any part of Igbo land, no roads, no schools, no empowerment, no jobs, no multi-national companies to employ fresh graduate, no hospitals... etc, all the politicians campaigning for elections here and there, none of their children is schooling here in the east.

After you struggle to graduate with all the strike and abnormally high tution fees, you end up driving Keke on bad roads just to make ends meet what kind of useless life is that?

There will be no elections in the south east.

This I have seen.

BRO I DONT SURPORT IPOB KILLINGS AND VIOLENT, WITH THIS UR POINT I SURPORT NO ELECTION BRO.

There is something you failed to understand people won't come out even if you place all the military in Anambra. You saw what happened during Buhari visits? If I may ask how streets are you going to police?

People may not actually be afraid about what happens on the election but what will happen to them after the military has gone.

I see BH doing a big damage on that day knowing that all attention is in Anambra State.

The speaker of SHA should be sworn in as the new governor for a period of six months. If the situation does not improve a state of emergency should be declared with an administrator appointed by the presidency. The tenure is also sixt months but renewable if the insecurity persists. I appeal to the Igbos to give peace a chance for a smoth running of democratic process.

BH attacked and kidnapped enmass, they never targeted specific individuals nor did they care about voting nor threatened anyone specifically for that. All IPOB is concerned with in Anambra is that people should not vote!
