The wealth in the world is unevenly distributed. I agree with the concept of universal basic income, if not, the gap will continue to widen.

The world's wealth is not evenly distributed but saying that earning 800k in naira puts you among 10% in the whole wide world to me is stretching it too far. Even though I haven't done a properly analysis, I still do not think it is correct

If he said Nigeria I would have no problem with it, but he said in the world.
Ordinary immigrants for US de earn more than 1k2 USD in a month and they are not even average earners.

As for this graph, I think it does capture Nigeria and many African countries appropriately

10% of the world's population should be close to 700 million people. I think I agree with him that 10% of world's population earned equivalent of $20,000 per annum

About 80% of the world's population are in very poor countries. India is a poor country.

Find out the per capital income of India, China and some of the highly populated countries in the world

First week in January 2021 I bought USD at N470. USD as at date is N497. This reflects a 5.7% appreciation. If it hovers around this rate till end of this month, thats 5.7% in 6months.

Same period under review, I invested some Naira at the rate of 15% per annum for a period of 6months (7.5%). Had other investments as high at 20-30% for same period but I would not be use them as comparison.

This scenario may not be an appropriate benchmark but in reality, even with devaluation, my Naira investment has performed or is at par with my USD saving.

Going forward, I’ll consider having funds domiciled in USD with United capital instead of the money just seating in a bank account.

June to October- 497 to 570 thats 14.6%

Year to date - 470 to 570 thats 21.2%

In the long run, the only determinants of wealth are financial intelligence and character. No (increase of) income can reverse this trend on the long run, just like even if you pour an ocean in a basket it shall not fill it for long.

In the short and middle run however, middle class economics principles can help a nation attempt to redistribute wealth equally.

Lastly, I am quite in support of a universal income though for reasons of efficiency and management.

ok....branch offers you 20% of your investment annually.... And 20% of any of your investment... Be it weekly, monthly or quarterly. Now, if you fix a million naira with branch, you get:1000000*5÷365×20%=2740... Compounded. . . That's what you earn every monday.... That 5 in the above equation means every 5 days divided by 365 days... As for investors with big sums, follow the process
Above... N. B that's what you earn every monday.... Another thing is that it is very flexible... Investment must be 30 days and above... You can withdraw any time.... For 1000000 naira in 30 days, it will be=1000000×30÷365×20%=16,438.... Any one can quote this post if need be or have any question

Almost all your posts for a few months are about promoting branch and helping others get 20% returns. Are you an employee of the firm? Are you so godly that you want everyone to know a good source of income.

This branch you are highly advertising as licensed by CBN, under what terms are they licensed ? Are they recognized as an investment platform? When I read I see fund management which is quite different.

What about Sec licence ?

Lol. grin grin
