Firmino wasn't, infact his role at hoffeinham was an attacking midfielder or playing as the supporting striker.
When he arrived at Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers mainly used him on the wings.
Then Klopp came and converted him into a false 9 which he performed excellently well...
He's not the same player as he was in 17- 20,
He's definitely regressed but Peak Firmino was no passenger..
He was an excellent foil for Salah & mane while also scoring vital goals...
Don't forget this guy hit 27goals & 17 assists in 17/18 season ...
