Urgent help needed

Good evening gurus. Please i was planning to buy a nairalander 07 Honda civic he advertised on auto section. I contacted him and he promised to inform me once He's in town. Currently he's not taking my calls nor reply to my text messages. Living me stranded.

Please can someone recommend a car either from the auto section or else where that i can buy for this hustle. My budget is 1.2m max.

Honda civic will be more appreciated due to its fuel economy... Thanks

I will reward anyone that i buy car from his link/means
Are you still open with this offer? I have a dealer we can get a neat '07 Civic from. He's on top of his game. Just tried the number you gave; its switched off. Quote me if you're still in

I doubt if Lastaman don't orchestrate traffic is some part of Lagos. Especially junctions where there is traffic light. Some junctions with traffic light are usually free, but with the presence of lastman, traffic build up. I passed through Oba Akran(Asbestos bus stop), with the presence of police and lastman, I thought the governor wants pass through that route, about 7 lastman,5 police, 2lastman bikes, 5police bikes, and special Korope parked in strategic location, all at alert to catch what fIsh. Causing unecessary traffic. Just recently, the way traffic build up coming Ikeja to Guinness is unbecoming. Someone said lastman bike men are even dragging the" business" with police bikes grin... Anyway, be more watchful guys, we can't make 1M a month and police and lastman want to collect 500k grin

The men appear to be redundant, why do they always loiter around Guinness /oba Akran. grin

There are other junctions where they could all be posted to and put themselves to good use.

They all refuse, preffering to wear the toga of special status ( task force bla bla). No training, apart from the reflective jackets they wear. embarassed

To cap it all, from my POV, their presence has no tangible effect on the traffic, it's still the same traffic.

Typical Civil service servants in full display. Drawing from state coffers without tangible /measurable contribution to the society.

I just completed a trip, damn I suffered on that trip. cry

How do people who drive without AC do it? This babe said she doesn't want AC, I asked why? She said its makes her want to throw up.

Normal me would have told her to book another ride because I can't but it was a destination trip that I desperately needed.

Thankfully, road was free but damn everywhere was hot! sad

Personally for me, I would have said you should not go.

But if you must, your first offer should be 100k.

I dont blame people with strict rules before giving their cars out on rentals, we have come here in the past to condemn people who say you should pay 30-50k as down payment before they give you cars, omo i don wise, if i am giving you a car on rentals, you have to make 30-50k deposit first, just incase you spoil my car, i dey para this morning, nobody should hold me...

Sofri dey para o.. do you have a car to give out? I need one!

Dangers Converting A Right-hand Car To A Left-hand Car Poses
With this case scenario, let us highlight the dangers of converting a vehicle from RHD to LHD.

A client who shipped an RHD Mercedes C230 Kompressor (2004 Coupe model) to Nigeria needed a convert to the LHD system again. An auto mechanic he consulted gave an assurance of a good conversion in two days. After two days, he retrieved his newly converted car. With all gladness, he paid for the service and took his car home. However, the following day while driving, he noticed a funny smell, dashboard lights will not go out, and the car doors locked and unlocked sequentially. After much drag with the previous auto mechanic, he took the car to a Mercedes Benz repair center to save his car. They plugged into the OBD-II (onboard diagnostic) diagnostic port, but no communication with the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and other electronic modules.

Possible Errors That Could Be Identified As A Result Of The Conversion:
The entire wiring behind the dashboard, the main central distribution source for the fuse box and relay plate, was completely melted and burnt out. In addition, all wiring was riddled with electric tape and crude joints during the conversion process.

The complete air-conditioning system was destroyed.

**** you already converted ur a/c compressor from Automatic to Manual ******

And mostly conversion cars very hard to sell .. You bought cheap and you will be lucky to sell it .. Keep in mind I import cars too

I bought a tokunbo Benz from the USA and it took me months to sell .... It is very hard to sell those types of cars now .... Now imagine trying to sell a converted Benz........

Yes you are a Nigeria.. Just because you are a Nigerian does not mean that you have to be ignorant and put your life at risk........

Conclusion.... Apart from putting your life at risk because of a conversion car e.g. the steering rack conversion is usually welded and not done right. You are putting your life and also loves ones at risk.

Conversion cars are much harder or nearly impossible to sell .... If na truck you can easily sell it.

Everything you just said is absolute upside down.

That's y dem say make una follow who know road but una no dey gree.

Instead make they buy the indigenous Innonso Motor. Those cars are made for our weather and Terrain.. No need to use engine oil, or even a/c . those foreign car manufacture don't know that we don't need a/c . we have our natural way of cooling off and palm oil is all is needed to lubricate. And we get plenty palm oil for various states ......

instead na foreign imports wey dey short oil from their useless factory come full market.

I really don't know, but Nigeria is no longer safe.

Any offline outside the city should scare anyone, not to talk of staying for 3 days.

Steering Risk Conversion

Steering Risk - Steering can disengage during motion, lose control, and cause an accident, and that conversion is never 100% successful.

Reduced Component Strength - Loads applied in an emergency, e.g., panic stop or loss of power assistance to steering can be very high. Therefore, a car component remodified and did not retain its original design's strength may operate unsatisfactorily under everyday driving loads. However, under high loads, it may fail catastrophically.

Susceptibility to Fatigue Failure - Poor conversion design can lead to fatigue failure of the steering component, which is performed satisfactorily for a series of days or time after modification. Car manufacturers invest a lot of time and money in producing components through design, material selection, manufacturing controls, and endurance testing, using manufacturing techniques that are not readily adaptable to low volume modification procedures. The question, is your car conversion tested afterward? Think again!

Reduced Primary Safety - Modifications to steering can radically alter a vehicle's handling by introducing undesirable traits such as increased bump steer and poor self-centering.
Alterations to braking components can reduce the system's braking effectiveness.
