Go and source your raw material locally or start consuming a substitute.
IQ is low if you want USD to be low and still consume imported wheat at low prices. IQ is generally low in Nigeria anyway

So people should look for substitute to bread ? I think it's your IQ that's low cos you're not reasoning well.
Since you talked about locally sourced materials, how many farmers are going to farm ?
Or do you think we don't produce flour as well. Go and do your research.

Please what is the quantity of wheat grown in Nigeria?

Ask yourself, if we could just grow our own wheat why are we importing it in the first place?

I remember when someone wanted to bring an alternative but it was rejected and he was laughed at.

Nigerians have low IQ indeed

Source wheat locally from who? The farmers in the North that Boko Haram has chased out of this century or the farmers in the North that Buhari wants their lands as grazing reserves?

Does any substitute for bread grow in space? Won't it be cultivated on the same lands?

Is there anything that has not been affected by Buhari's ineptitude, that still goes for a sensible rate?

Meanwhile the dollars that flour importers supposedly cannot get, are being round-tripped by fellow Nigerians like us - the bankers and their agents on the streets - who use fake documents to get it at official rate and sell at black market price to actual importers.

We are our own worst enemies in this hopeless country.

Buhari also attributed the soaring cost of food to the big business men and women. Why hoarding vitals? Just to cause artificial scarcity?

You should keep in mind too that Godwin Emefiele, an Igbo man, is presiding over the death of the Naira and Nigeria's economy.

Emefiele cannot claim to not understand what is going on, the most basic thing he can do is to properly monitor the retail auctions to these useless, greedy bankers.

I don't want to experience the poverty you must have gone through to make you believe that Africa has been "doing well".

it's Western media propaganda that makes you believe that about yourself...

Loan - we beg for foreign loan because foreign western powers ceased the world economy through colonization 100s of years agonand manipulate world trade. Begging for loan is a TEMPORARY measure.

Debt forgiveness - same as above

Food aid - we don't beg for food aid oh. they voluntarily give us...

military hardware - it's trade... we pay for it. and it's called leverage..why build from scratch when Russia and US is good at it?

infrastructure - this one I agree with you on. the indigenous companies tend to do a poor job.

clean water - not true in my opinion as we provide clean water for ourselves
