Did you read the part where he said he's a graduate of Civil Engineering undecided.
He knows better than to call Baba Mukaila the experienced bricklayer. You've mentioned the real problem. Prospective home owners think they are smarter than practicing engineers. They call you up to come see them. You offer them advice with an agreement that they'll notify you when they are ready but they just get a bricklayer to do the job.
So it is what it is.

My dad and brother are both registered structural engineers. Now I don't know what type of engineer that other guy whom I quoted is, maybe an OND holder with little experience, cos I don't see how a qualified doctor would blame another doctor for loss of lives, it reflects poorly on him...

Honestly, I like the Lagos State governor, he's an action governor and presently the best in the country!

In Abia State, we have a corrupt and an competent, gorilla-looking idiot as governor

Lol... I get your point. I was surprised when I read the part too. Prolly one who still doesn't understand the essence of studying the course. I don't think there is any one who claims to be a Civil/Structural Engineer that will allow such to happen to a project they contributed to. Even if it's not financially rewarding for me, I'll do it to protect my good name.

Will still be abused as always.

Nigeria problem is not that of lack of good ideas but enforcing is a hell of a disaster.
