We are just playing long balls... no coordination between the midfield and attack...
The matter really tire me o.

How can we be playing ordinary C.A.R. and be hoofing the ball like this.

It seems the instruction is if you have the ball, locate Osimhen.

We can't even string 5 passes together.

Even if we win 3vs 0 the coach should be sacked. No creative midfielder... When did the Nigeria team begin to balloon ball up? Not impressive. No passes

SE seems to be playing 3-5-2.

18" mins gone.

Ekong needs to stop these unnecessary long balls. sad
If Ekong was in the 90's, he would have been a good CB. But in this modern game?? I don't really fancy him. Panics when under pressure, passes balls to the opposition more often.

Is there any other available coach that'll enable us to play the offensive football we need to play? We struggle too much to get goals

Joebie:
The debate is SE of 94 versus current SE.
Stay on the matter.
I told you that SE was feared beyond Africa. There is a reason for that.

Modified,
Only you brought titles matter. I did not even go there. You said you watched the team. Watch their WC matches and their nations cup matches. And if you conclude that team was only slightly better than this, I rest my case.

I did not bring any debate comparing se of 94 to this eagles

All I said is many of our ex players where overrated

You just want to enter rohr team because he hasn’t won anything ,but person wey no no football go think say 94 team win World Cup with the way most of una Dey yarn

They won only the afcon ,don’t come and be telling me how teams use to fear them ,no be that one we wan chop

Playing poor scorelines with minnows and giving them psychological morale booster the they can actually play and win Nigeria....just imagine Djibouti going back for return leg Algeria, the kind of fear they will be harboring...and imagine CAR mindset in d return leg

Okay they are overrated in what basis? How they played together as a team, or what they brought to the team?
How were they rated in world football? Who did they play against at the highest stage, and how did they fair as players and as a team?

This team may not qualify for the world cup.
I am yet to understand the role of Aribo in the SE.

Ndidi is a defender turned DM , you are asking for too much. Onyeka is a natural born midfielder. I keep telling them this here and everybody want to play the ostrich.

Yekini played at d 98 world cup. His competitors were Yekini, Amokachi and Akpoborie
Yekini didn’t even play qualifiers for 98 World Cup, Akpoborie was always in and out of the team, Amokachi wasn’t really a competitor because they played together sometimes like the bulgaria game in 98

I am so happy to see the synergy between Simon and Aina in all honesty Now i know shehu was the problem against Cape Verde
.the team is not playing badly it seems CAR came to defend and take us on a counter. Nacho needs to play with oshimen if they must make something from this match at all
