The other day, one of d most criticised guys on this thread (forgotten his moniker) commented on the non-payment of rohr's salary.

In his exact words, he wrote and I quote...."what has rohr done to deserve his salary in the first place"

Well, I wanted to support the guy but after reading a few comments bashing the guy afterwards, I just jejely kept quiet to avoid same bashing from u guys... lol.

Well, at this point, there's nothing to hold back again, as u can now all agree that indeed, the aforementioned guy's claims were absolutely correct...."what has rohr done to deserve his salary"

I know I would still be bashed for this afterall...lol.

Let's keep basking in d euphoria of foolery and self-deception....its our default way as NIGERIANS...ho-ha.

I would never have believed in my present life and in my next life that central african republic would defeat our beloved super eagles at home....this could easily pass for the greatest joke of the millennium.

CAR also played on the same pitch.

Excuses. He should've resigned then and put Pinnick to shame.
As far as TODAY'S game goes - he is 100 percent responsible for this loss. He was content with being owed/paid late initially and that didn't stop him from winning games.
This excuse doesn't fly at all.

Go and rewatch Nigeria 2018 World Cup qualifying opponents and get back to me

This makes no sense. We were clearly ineffective on the wings (CAR picked this up and tied us up there) and lacked a midfield. How would the inclusion of such players ameliorate these areas of concern?

Ndidi, Frank, and to an extent Etebo are the only midfielders we have.
Frank impressed me. He should be a first teamer. either in CM or DM.

What is blocking Nwakali's invitation?

I wonder how people hail u as tactically aware. Does Italy build from back ?

Do Nigeria has the requiste personnel for possession football? Heck even Man utd don't build from back.

Mention players that Amunike built on a club level?

If you mean players that Amynike and come discovered, then u are wrong because Rohr has scouted better players for Us.

If we ask u who you want to replace Rohr, you will call ur client

You that is tactically astute, tell us whether Italy builds from the back and let us start from there.

Just see talk. A team that has Veratti and Jorginho in midfield.

Talk, let us start from there.

Egbon stop na
Wetin concern us with Segun for this matter

That era has passed...

The issue now is how to get a creative playmaker for this team to support iwobi or kick out those 2 mediocre coaches Yobo and Rohr out asap
Don't mind me joor you know I don watched different generations of eagles but for some people telling us 94 class were overrated,no I will not take that...so I needed to go to archives that Segun Odegbami,Adokiye,Muda Lawal,Christian Chuckwu of 80s will enter this team with ease talkless of 94 team.

Oh creative midfielder but I thought we are criticizing Victor Ikpeba for expressing his opinion and funny enough some started comparing Ikpeba with Iwobi, forgetting Ikpeba was former Africa footballer of the year.

Sure Rohr must go,forget Pinnick by the time Nigerians turn the heat on him he go know say Warri dey come last.

Stop playing with yourself. Please, Manchester United builds from the back. You can hardly find a team in England, even Norwich that can't build from the back. There is a reason why it is called modern football. It is now adopted by most teams

All that has been paving way for him was his merit selection which I can longer say hold sway

That is why I find it annoying when you guys say Rohr has taking us to the Moon when he lacks the essentials of scouting and building a platform. I can bet if Siasia, Amunike or Finidi were handling this crop of boys, they would have developed the team after years to know how to build from the back.

lol Rohr is just breaking records everywhere. First to allow a team come back to draw a match after being 4-0 nil down. Home loss to South Africa now CAR that haven't won in 15 games? grin comedy hour.

I suspected something was amiss when players were coming unto the pitch to take selfies just before the game started. Same way we brought sports minister and edo deputy governor to train during preparations for match against seirra leone.

Pinnick and NFF it seems are doing everything to sabotage this team cos providing the simplest pitch to play on is not rocket science. If SUDAN, ZAMBIA and even freaking Ethiopia can get a decent pitch that is not uneven bumpy or poorly grassed then we have absolutely no excuse.

I'm glad the Lagos fans booed them because we will not tolerate such ROHRBISH!

Good fullbacks and midfielders we make good wing play.
We have good wingers to make things happen.

Please tell me the better player Rohr has scouted that you will put above Ndidi, Osimhen, Chukwueze and Iheanacho. Keep in mind Amunike was part of the coaching team that brought both U17 winning teams.

I think you are on to something. When he handled the CHAN team at least I saw some measure of tactical play. No qualms getting rid of him because of corruption but the very least you can do is to hire a tactical replacement but no you go and bring Yobo who doesn't even have coaching badges ment!

What a performance!

We didn't have a meaningful shot at goal in 90mins at home in a competitive game against the team ranked 124th in the world and who haven't won a game in their last 15.

Well done Gernot.
I watched the game, and we were good all round. Passing and all round play.

For some strange reason however, parking the bus seems to work very well against us, it triggers us, makes our attackers so tensed, they begin to miss simple chances, and making mistakes, all in desperation to score, resulting in frustration. They should just forget about all the Nigerian hype and fans, and focus on getting the job done. We get too desperate, and can't match it with cohesion anymore.

Stats can back this up. Btw, building from back depends more ball playing cbs and a good dm. Mention one super eagles cb that can build from back. Mention any of our defenders that play in teams that build from back

I don't know Amunike from Jupiter but I will give you my reason for his pick.

I believe wholeheartedly in possessive offensive football. My top two coaches today are Guardiola and Enrique who play it in fantastic form. A lot of teams are adopting it and if you don't your team will get left behind.

So Amunike knows the art inside out. Played the system at Barcelona, trained in coaching under the same philosophy.

So he remains my favorite pick. Finidi stays second because he played the system under Van Gaal in Ajax and did his coaching training in Spain under the system.

We have not grown an inch when it comes to football play. People just celebrate results that we have passed long time ago.

For Christ sake because a team counter attacks, it does not mean they can't build from the back. Please, that your start shows you are totally off point.

Please know from today that Italy is now a possession based football team under Mancini. Building from the back is a big part of possession football.
