He should have been fired even before this year's Euro's, allowing him coach the Euros and remain post Euros is why France is in this situation. He has been horrible post 2018 FIFA World Cup. He continues to struggle with managing the pool of talent at his disposal especially younger players. The team's mentality is quite fragile now and they play without any intensity.
His player selection and decision and tactics has been bad and it was evident in the last Euros. In the middle of a competition you decide to switch to a 5-3-2 formation and of course the rest is history. Why on earth is Lloris still starting for Les Bleus? He has endured a bad spell over the last 2 seasons for France, yet he continues to start.
