rohr is clueless and always rely on players individual brilliance to win him games and once that fails he get exposed badly am not even surprised about the outcome of the game as a Manchester united fan with Ole who is just like the younger version of rorh as a manager with same cluelessness am getting used to seeing something like this happen 4 Likes |

Aina had zero accurate crosses into the box yet he is supposed to be our attacking full back |

Let's also intensify our effort into converting more Rohr apologists like the notorious Johnbull who doesn't know how to spell his name, and 12larger beer... May the Lord's work be done! Our greatest challenge is the lack of urgency. Only Osimhen, Ejuke and maybe Onyeka played as if they wanted to win the match. The rest played like they just wanted the game to end. Pass multiple times in our half, then Balogun or Ekong remembers we want to score and then plays an aimless long ball. CAR just executed a very simple game plan. They know they are farmers, so the aim was to bring all of us into the farming together. Since they are used to playing farmers game, they beat us of course. Our players play in the top leagues in the world. I expected them to make passes between lines, play one-twos and so on. It was like we were no different tactically than them. When teams like ordinary Algeria play, the way they pass alone tells you that they have players that think and study football. The game today was just kick and run. By the way, I wonder why Rohr didn't give Bassey some minutes. Asides even to cap-tie him, it was obvious that Collins did not eat before this match, with the way he played. Bassey is an attacking fullback almost like a winger. His pace could have added bite to our attack in the final minutes. 3 Likes |

Don’t blame rohr all the players are average at best. We the fans want a world class performance from super eagles when we don’t have a world class player. Our highest rated player is ndidi and osimehn aren’t they ain’t top dogs in their respective wings/position. The moment we start to see our players as the average players which they are, we’ll be contented with our results. Just Ask me what was balogun forming with over confidence, lost so many balls, ain’t can’t cross for his life, number 3 is a no go area, osimehn first touch is horrendous, I can go on all day. |

Subzero047:The only good nodding by Osimehn was a cross by Aina and another ground cross to Osimehn but was intercepted by CAR defender was by Aina...Osimehn even thumb up meaning more of that.. Oga Subzero this is not time to single out any player for blame cos the team was very poor today. Rohr must go if I have my way. 3 Likes |

typicalgamer: Here we go again... Osimhen just won Serie A player of the month, while playing in a better team with better coaches, but suddenly his first touch are horrendous... Balogun and Aribo are undisputed starters for the champions of Scotland.. Ekong and Onyeka are starters in the premier league... Pound for pound, the entire CAR team isn't worth our bench... but to you,it's okay that we lost to them, because our players are average... Just another silly excuse to defend Rohr... Heading into the 2018 world cup, we had Iwobi at Arsenal,Moses at Chelsea and Ndidi who was statistically the best DM in the premier league, so to some extent our squad was above average, going by your logic...so tell me,why couldn't Rohr take that squad further past the group stage? 3 Likes |

Napoleon55: Actually,it will be... Cus Rohr can drag the NFF to FIFA and FIFA will sanction us... Zimbabwe were banned from participating in the 2018 world cup qualifier because of their refusal to pay their sacked coach his entitlement.. But I don't think the payoff will be an issue...it's something the ministry of sports can offset... I think there was a report sometimes ago that the sport minister wanted Rohr sacked.... |

Nigeria missed Iwobi & Ndidi - Rohr Coach Gernot Rohr has stated that the absences of Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi had impacted Nigeria’s game against the Central African Republic in Thursday’s 2022 Fifa World Cup qualification match. Despite dominating ball possession against the Wild Beasts, the Super Eagles bowed 1-0 to Raoul Savoy’s men at Teslim Balogun Stadium.Karl Namnganda's 90th-minute effort separated both teams as the three-time African kings fluffed several scoring opportunities. While lamenting his team’s defeat despite dominating ball possession, the German tactician discloses that the non-appearance of the England based stars – who were out due to injury worries did not help matters. “The players are still disappointed in the dressing room and still not understanding why we could lose this match,” Rohr told Goal. “When we analyzed it, we dominated possession of the ball, we had several opportunities to score but we did not score and very often in football, there was a counter and our opponents scored. “Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, we lost. We had the opportunity to score but we couldn’t. “We have to recover, and we have to make some changes in the team. We missed the creativity of Iwobi, we also missed Ndidi so much. “It was not easy for [Frank] Onyeka and a first-timer [Taiwo] Awoniyi to come in this team.” Notwithstanding the setback, the German is upbeat that his team will get the job done in the return leg to boost their chances of qualifying for the play-off round. “Cape Verde were well organised but we are still ahead in the group and in three days time, I believe we will be able to win the match,” he continued. “It will not be in Central Africa, it will be in Cameroon and on a very good pitch. “Also, I think the fighting spirit of the team is still there. I hope in the next game, we will be luckier than today. “There will be some changes. Already, there are some injuries and I don’t know if Kelechi [Iheanacho] is able to play because he had a knock. “We have some players who are tired because they ran a lot and were fighting as always. This defeat will surely make their recovery more difficult. “They will not sleep well tonight but we have to recover and prepare for Sunday’s game which we must win.” |

edi287:If he didn't make the sub, you'd say he's behaving like he's protecting a lead. When you settle down from your intoxication with Rohr you'd see that our lads make such schoolboy errors that you wonder how they've been in pro leagues all this while We'd have been crying about our draw now if those two blockheads did their freakin jobs |
