try to avoid Nigeria police.
If u ever engage police people,
if u win them
u will spend money,
If they win you, you will spend money.
Best shot is to avoid them

You're not supposed to have hacking permit. You're supposed to have hackney Permit. They roped you because you admitted you were an uber/bolt driver. Lie to them next time. Reverse psychology their dumb ass. The NPF has the dumbest set of officers. They're easy to manipulate with key words and phrases.

Simply calling them by rank puts them at ease. For example, when they stop you, Hello inspector, hello corporal, hello sergeant. Makes them avoid their rubbish most times.

Dumb as usual.

If I set my own standards and break my own standards, you should have no expectations of my own standards. Set yours.

Goat. I work hard, problem. I rest, problem. I set target, problem. I meet target, problem. Everything I do, you put under a microscope trying to discredit me. Fooooool! Set your own standards. You keep straining your dumbo ears to hear if I have encountered anything negative, like a sadist, so you can gleefully come to say "I said it" "it's not achieveable" "it's not sustainable".... Don't be a Bastard. Set your own targets, meet them and shut the fuck_ up. You'll wait perpetually for my downfall, I promise you.

This is my own way of being funny. I come in peace.

What happened over night, last I checked it was gentlelife50 that asked question. Why me ?

Your standard is my standard in ehailing grin

Well talking about standards
it is you that came to public forum to set standards and change narratives... I maintain it’s not sustainable and achievable.
You said easily week in week out.

- You set up ant group to learn strategies- i tried to smuggle myself in - I failed (credentials)

- you set a standard publicly of 200k weekly - I followed grin Not sustainable

- you set 1M publicly - I followed , but backed out cos I no wan die young grin

Simple question did u meet up with your own target. You are now sounding angry funny grin

We are all hustling ... I will never wish you bad or pray negative thing happen to you to proof a point.

The guy was to deliver an item but the trip didn't go down well with the rider( she was in an event). The rider requested and got me. As the first guy was loading the item, he asked me if I had started the trip, which I told him yes. He was trying to lecture me on how to leave it on paid waiting then activate start trip after like 15/20 mins.
I just dey look an dey laff grin

Don't mind me bro, was only just being sarcastic. My take really on this issue is that if drivers in Lagos and as far as owerri are doing this then something must be working for them.

Pearl has argued from the point of view of distance covered but failed to also factor in the fact that the app companies may have also considered that drivers may also forget to start a trip from pickup location. Its a program, so they will be alot of if...elseif to consider.

However, to ease tension on this argument, for those who drive on the bolt platform can stylishly ask and see what their response will be.

Bolt app is the reference bro not Uber..

Fair enough. However my point still remains valid. These apps will never discard time difference between pickup point and the point the trip was started because of that singular factor...driver may not remember to start the trip at pickup point.

If you click arrived at a pickup location and driver about 300meters away from than PU, bolt app automatically pops up, telling you that you've moved for more than 300meters from pickup with two options. 1) start trip. 2) waiting for rider.

If you click start trip, it'll surely factor in the distance you've covered before starting the trip.

I don't know what some people are defending.

If it's toll gate at airport.....it will be added with the trip without giving breakdown, which is bad on the part of bolt ..before they give the breakdown and now they don't again.....kindly remove the 200 from your final fare....if he says otherwise tell the driver to go settle it with bolt...I will add the screenshot from such incidence, as I wrote them recently.

As if this is not naija where one has to look over his shoulders before making any transaction, making it worse is it being an online transaction.
It was on the same thread that someone was scammed for driver's licence renewal, on the same thread one scammer claimed to be a doc, so you expect people that witnessed such should just keep quiet and watch scammmers have a good day?

And by the way, he was only asked to apply caution so what's the fuss all about?

Moreover, one needs to apply caution with a moniker like yours.
The difference in time between your last post before commenting about the said car seems suspicious.

Your last post before Oct 5th was April 2020 which calls for a concern.

Save your energy. If he's not a dubious character his response will be a bit civil. He should put up a link to a thread where he's carried out deals successfully and if he is new to the business, which is okay, then a subtle way to lure clients should be used instead he is here fighting.

Bolt dashing bonus everyday, even if u do 6 trips in 6hrs they will make sure u have 15k c’mon.

So sorry for your ordeal.

The easiest way to survive as a newbie is to make your riders feel in charge.

Let them know that the trip is your first.

Or you can tell them that you just relocated to Lagos, and you have never been to their location before

Or just tell them that you really don't trust the map, and if they would be okay with its suggestions

Don't worry. Everybody here has had bad days. It will surely pass.
