Hello, same for me as well. I was told my medicals were submitted in 27th September, and I have recieved no updates till now.

Wow! Hopefully, your approval is around the corner. Since IOM categorically told you that they'd submitted it.

Please, how did you contact IOM to ask about the submission status?

Hello everyone,

I have questions to ask concerning my letter of explanation. I did my first application 24th of May 2021 and I got a refusal on September 15, 2021. The reason for my refusal is POF. However, I have been able to sort the POF issue.

My question, therefore, is when I am writing my letter of explanation, is it the reason for my refusal I will be addressing alone?

Secondly, I am changing my DLI from Saint Paul University to Memorial University also I am changing my course as well from M.A in Public Ethics to M.A in Education. However, both courses I chose due to the nature of my job which is teaching. I would like to know, do I have to explain the reason for the switch in my LOE or I should just state it and not explaining the reason for the switch.

Thank you as I await your response.

Hello Smara

Outside or Inside Nigeria, You send your E-medical sheet via Webform or Email to the IRCC email addresses concerned..

Who requested for an Upfront Medical E-sheet though, cos I can't remember anytime where IRCC ask for Upfront-Medical E-medical sheets from Applicants..

IRCC only gets results from the IRCC approved Clinics, they will never ask for E-medical sheet from applicants.. Applicants just chose to submit it simply cos of the delayed submission of their Medical results to IRCC by the clinics...

Peace

Hello pls I have some questions that I need clarification. This is my first application. Any of the questions you can answer would be appreciated so I dont make mistake.

1. On the form there is a place for UCI number. Do I ignore it?

2. When filling the form for school fees and funds available for my stay. Do I put the balance amount with me as funds available after paying school fees or total amount? Out of 12m total, paid first semester 3m, balance is 9m.

3. For national identification. Our NIN doesnt have issue/expiry date. What do I fill here?

4. For purpose of Visit I selected short term studies. I tot short term study is study below 6 months but mine is a 1 year graduate certificate program.

5. How do I sign the forms

Appreciate any response. Thank you

Thank you I’d do as recommended.
As per your 2nd paragraph, I meant that I had already done upfront medicals last month but I just got a request from ircc to get my medicals done.

The clinic said they had sent the results way back, so Could it be the ircc didn’t see my upfront medical report earlier sent

Answers

1) for first time applications, leav it blank

2) from your LOA, there should be tuition stated in it, so is Tuition+10,000 + others ( flights and miscellaneous)
So be looking at Tuition+10,000+ 3000

3) for national identification, I used international passport and driving license. So why not use either. My opinion though

4) yes.

5) write your name where applicable, put date and validate it. Please do not print out and sign and scan back.

Thanks

What is the help that you need?

What you may need to understand is most people here are for Post Graduate with little knowledge of undergraduate. So may tend to swipe pass if no idea. But it doesn't mean u're being ignored. When gurus comes over it, they will surely do Justice to it. So kindly share the question again.

Thanks.

If your notes says your problem was POF alone. Then copy and paste the comments made by the VO in your LOE and explain adequately how you've fixed this dilemma.

For your change of school and course I think the emphasis and explanation about that will be in your SOP. I'd rather you don't change your course because if the VO didn't make comments about it that means there's either academic advancement or a career development by taking that course, so if you change courses you might need to convince the VO why?. Please don't get me wrong M.A In education also seems reasonable as it shows advancements based on your career. But if something isn't broken why fix it?

Based on what we read here….
Some get asked while some are not.
Best to have it with you, basically your account statement showing living expense should suffice. But if you wish to print your dad’s own along no problem, better to over prepared than under prepared (paper no get weight)

With what I’ve seen here, you can print your dads statement and tell them your plan is that your living expenses will be transferred to you when you open a Canadian bank account. You’ll have to show a more recent statement too not the one you used for your application
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by viviangogos(f): 12:34pm On Oct 09, 2021
I will advise you do a LOE and SOP. On your LOE, write out the VOs concern and then make your explanation to address it stating clearly what you have done differently. Remember this should be as concise as possible. Mine was a 2 page.
SOP will have your detailed study plan with subheadings explaining your plans generally like introduction of yourself and what you have been doing as regards work, career goals, why Canada why the school, home ties, table of financial means and expenses, etc this way it gives the VO a detailed outlook and what to look out for without missing the point on the initial refusal grounds and what you have done differently before re applying. Some people think it is ok to use one letter, so las las, there is no blueprint really to these stuffs. Just go with the one that you can relate better with.

For your change of course, since you understand your progression, and you know both courses demonstrate progression, I do not think it is a problem. Simply do justice to relate course to career goals and future plans. The VO will analyse your new application based on the evidences provided and give his decision on that.

I wish you all the best!!!

Hello all, please I am new and have a few questions for a successful student visa. I plan to apply immediately I get my admission offer.

1. I am single, how do I convince the visa officers, I will be coming back to Nigeria.
2. Do I need to have all 2 years of cost of living in my bank account to be issued visa
3. If I pay 70% of my tuition fees and have the remaining 30% in my account. Is that good for my application.
4. I have a valid IELTS general certificate with 8.5 is that accepted by the officers
Any other info that I will need to take note of?
Thanks in advance for your valid responses
