Like you said she works and I want to believe her husband also works too. You shouldn't have wasted your gas. Be that as it may please don't lock your gas inside your apartment, please and please.. Rather let her know that you can't continue to allow her use your gas anymore, reason being that you also struggle to buy gas too, considering how expensive it had become.
