BARAJ92:Thank you. He almost added a second assist with that low key pass to Osimhen inside the box. Be like some people don already prepare to blame Musa before match even start. 1 Like |

Guess that answers the question why a talent like Leroy Sane was allowed to leave Man City and why he hasn't quite tied down a starting XI shirt with Bayen and Germany Mujtahida: 1 Like |

andrewbaba44:Club performance should not be used to judge a player that has always perform for the national team, anytime they are call upon that is the point, some players perform at club level and flop at national team. |

I didn't watch our game today, but I jus watched d highlights, meeehhhnnn how on earth did osimhen loose that opportunity na :'.... confident dribblers like Ejuke, Chukwueze (against Sierra Leone) iheanahcho ( against Zambia), will calm down and yeye that defender, if keeper join sef, all of them will be "yeyed" before slotting that ball into the net. Even ahmed Musa yeyering d Iceland defense at d WC |

Rohr should jettison 4-4-2 and revert to the his traditional 4-2-3-1, for the following reasons: It is very clear we don't have the players to execute properly a 4-4-2 formation. We don't even have the composition of play that utilises well a 4-4-2 system. Osimhen our star man thrives as a lone striker. He is clearly our star man because of his all-round contributions. If there are players 4-4-2 have clipped considerably their performances, Moses Simon and Osimhen are such players. Osimhen's mobility patterns are greatly curbed. Osimhen's movement around the box normally draws defenders with him opening spaces for other forwards (our inverted wingers) to cut in and shoot. You need to give such a mobile striker like Osimhen spaces to run into, and he shouldn't be running into a fellow teammate. It will push our wingers closer to the box: 4-2-3-1 will bring our wingers closer to the box so that they will have less ground to cover and with their pace and trickery, .get more shooting chances. It will also brings width to our attacking front: the widermen occupying spaces out and wide will definitely draw out defenders at which they can easily maneuver. Drawing defenders into wide areas also makes for more accurate crosses. Against a side like CAR that practice zonal marking especially around their own box, a 4-2-3-1 will bring width to our attack to draw them out and allow more mobility to Osimhen. 2 Likes 1 Share |
