I decided to make a research on the fault placed by Emussan about the Russell's marital issues and I found out that something is missing, about the court decisions on both parties, I also found out that the issue of pastor Chris and pastor Russell are not the same and cannot be compared, one was fully divorced due to infidelity and immorality as stipulated by the wife of the said pastor and a divorce certificate was granted in full, while the other, the wife wanted something that has to do with position and it was not granted to her by her husband, (wife won collect fans like the husband and the husband no gree), so the metal issue claims by the said wife to court, though she filed for a divorce, but instead was given a certificate of separation with alimony, which in all is not and never a divorce, just a separation that is accepted in the Bible for married couples but the Bible does not encourage it. Am quite sure that pastor Russell and his wife knows what the holy scriptures say about divorce and that trying to grab positions in anything in the family circle cannot lead to a divorce only adultery can lead to a divorce if both parties find it difficult to forgive each other.

Did Russell later divorce his wife? No!

Actually, it was Mrs. Russell who separated from her husband, and and it was she who later filed for divorce; the court decision actually amounted to a legal separation. Brother Russell, of course, had no control over what his wife sought to do.

Here is some pertinent information from Joseph Rutherford's A Great Battle in the Ecclesiastical Heavens concerning this matter:

Without notice, [Russell's wife] voluntarily separated herself from him in 1897, nearly eighteen years after their marriage. For nearly seven years she lived separate and apart from him, he furnishing her a separate home.
