Yay! I just finished the module on CSS grid. I already feel somewhat like a pro, I honestly cannot wait to finish this course on CSS so I'd do all the HTML and CSS projects on frontendmentor. I learnt some new stuff btw, they include: 1. The fit-content property. 2. How to position grid elements. 3. How to position the grid itself. 4. Making the grid responsive with media queries. 5. Sizing automatically generated rows and columns. 6. Comparison between explicit and implicit grid. 7. The auto-fill and auto-fit values. 8. How to create a dense grid. 9. Comparison between flexbox and grid. Later D! |

Samuell2019:Hey buddy, regarding the torrent ish, I really don't know why the download seems slow asides bad network. You could try using ADM too - another torrent downloader. Preferably, you could download the rar files instead, this helped me at a point where my torrent download wouldn't go past 90%. |

So I started a new module on transformation. I went through the part that was on 2-D, and I didn't quite understand the part on 3-D. I might just leave the part on 3D and move on to the next module, then revisit it later on. I learnt about the following: 1. The transform property. 2. The transform-origin property and it's attributes. 3. The rotate and translate functions. 4. The skew and scale functions. 5. The transform shorthand. Later D. 1 Like |

Hey D! I started the js course today, although it's more of an introduction to what js is all about, and what I would gain from the course. I learnt that: 1. JavaScript is a dynamically interpreted (compiled on the fly) and weakly typed (data types being automatically assumed) programming language used to make webpages more dynamic. 2. Js is a hosted language which can be run on different environments such as the browser, server, etc. 3. Js engines are built into browsers ( V8 for chrome and SpiderMonkey for Firefox) which are used to parse (read and understand) Js code, compilation into machine code and execution. I'll be starting the main deal tomorrow.. See ya! |

Template literals. 5. How to add line breaks to strings for easier readability. 6. Intro to functions: syntax and how to call functions. Tomorrow D. |
