I cant believe my eyes.

Please dont speak on this subject anymore
In the past two decades, hundreds of convicted prisoners have been exonerated by DNA and non-DNA evidence, revealing that police-induced false confessions are a leading cause of wrongful conviction of the innocent. In this article, empirical research on the causes and correlates of false confessions is reviewed. After a description of the three sequential processes that are responsible for the elicitation of false confessions—misclassification, coercion, and contamination—the three psychologically distinct types of false confession (voluntary, compliant, and persuaded) are discussed along with the consequences of introducing false-confession evidence in the criminal justice system. The article concludes with a brief discussion of the implications of empirical research for reducing the number of false confessions and improving the accuracy of confession evidence that is introduced against a defendant at trial.
Nevertheless, the DNA exonerations provide a window into the causes of erroneous prosecution and wrongful conviction. A disturbing number of these cases involved false confessions given by innocent defendants during a psychologically coercive police interrogation. In the Central Park Jogger case, for example, all five juveniles falsely confessed after lengthy unrecorded interrogations in which they were yelled at, lied to, threatened, and promised immunity in exchange for their admissions to participating in the assault and rape.5 In 15 to 20 percent of the DNA cases, police-induced false confessions were the primary cause of the wrongful conviction.6,7 Here too, however, the documented cases appear to represent the proverbial tip of the iceberg, as the DNA exonerations again do not include most cases in which there is no DNA to test. They also do not include false confessions that were dismissed or disproved before trial, those that resulted in guilty pleas, those given for crimes that were not subject to postconviction review (especially less serious crimes), and those given in cases that contain confidentiality provisions (e.g., juvenile proceedings).

Conspiracy theories are beginning to germinate and as usual, logic is being thrown out of the window. Disappointing but not surprising. I reiterate that anyone that wants to prove his innocence should start by reading his 1200 page transcripts, that is what anyone looking to overturn the verdict would first have to do. My people like to talk but won’t put their time and data where their mouth is.

And for this reason I will say that they are spinning their wheels. It does not matter who they get the attention of, before getting involved in the cause, the person(s) will examine the facts of the case, review what Bah is presenting, and tell them the truth instead of what they want to hear. And guess what? That person will be called bitter, an agent, hard-hearted, etc.
As I stated earlier in the thread, no one will risk their reputation and credibility over what others think or feel.

This group is diligently attempting to help a man who has not been honest with them at all. They are willing to walk into battle without knowing what type of ammunition the opponent has and this will have an adverse reaction.

In addition to your questions: was the girl a virgin? Was Mr Bah visually identified by the victim? Was the victim cross examined by the defense? Was she a virgin? Was there a tear in her anus to indicate forceful-first time sodomy?
The duration of the incidence? Were was his semen removed from the victim before DNA was carried out? Is the semen sample still in preservation?

It takes a truly despicable person to compose such garbage and it takes 2 equally despicable people to read it and click LIKE. Only in a barbaric society would that set of questions be considered reasonable and pertinent. Sane people know that such a person does not know anything about the Justice system nor do they know anything about decency and order.

And for the billionth time, a 13 year old girl IS A CHILD.

No. I am not.

In such a case, a positive identification is key. Please notice how Bah stated that there was no “in court identification made” which was his way of twisting a lie until it rang true. No, she did not identify him in court however she identified him in the presence of detectives and a guardian.

In his line of thinking, he didn’t actually tell you a lie, he just circumvented the truth. It is a pattern with him.

Is it because the victim is a female thats why so much efforts is geared towards morality?
Many male juveniles were accorded such privileges of privileges of witness protection.
Intact they were grilled beyond their ages.
We'll, its a woman's world.
There are so many instances involving false testimonies and identification, by juvenile victims that lead to wrongful incarceration and in some instances, death of innocents. Most of these culprits are females!
By the way, it is still the police, the victim, her parents/guardians and probably a state hired defense attorney that were present during the identification of the accused. No serous cross examination was carried out?
When he was detained at the police station there exists a possibility of his body fluids to be obtained, with an aim of linking the accused to the crime.
Even the clothes found can be inadmissible under the watch of a good lawyer.

I believe 12 jurors spent the better part of a week hearing evidence during a trial and unanimously -- and quickly -- voted to convict him. A jury conviction is a powerful statement of guilt that requires more than a cursory claim of innocence to ignore. The burden of proof shifts to Bah to prove his innocence after that kind of conviction, and he's not meeting that burden, since everything he's arguing would have been evident to those 12 jurors.

He also has tremendous incentive to lie like hell right now, given what he's facing in prison.

There's no point in arguing half-measures: you can't sort-of-rape a 13-year-old girl, and there's no real provision for leniency in sentencing given the conditions. The only way he ever gets out of prison is by arguing that the state broke its own laws prosecuting him. And, again, he isn't offering sufficient evidence of that, because that's a high hurdle to leap.

Yeah. He did it. I can say that because a jury said it.

Now, George is talking.

Well, I read the jury said he did it...but I don't believe the jury.

You did a wonderful job coordinating this thread, know when to call it quits sir. Remember, this is a violent crime against a child we are talking about here, every sly and unguarded remarks about this kind of reinforces such behavior. Law and order exists in a society to protect the weak from the strong. This crime has a victim; a child!

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist or a genius to see through Mr Bah, hopefully he knows the right thing to do. Sticking out your neck for an unrepentant drowning rapist may come back to bite you in the àss tomorrow, tomorrow is pregnant and the internet never forgets wink

The people that I’ve spoken with would’ve gone all out assuming Mr Bah is where he is now because he was trying to better the lots of himself and his family economically. Hope you understand what I mean. Mr Bah hasn’t had his epiphany yet.

Sighs. They're both different individuals who understand how the US justice system works. They don't make conclusions based on sentiments. They work based on evidence, and honestly, all evidence points towards the defendant being guilty.

I'm sure that 1stgenamerican has no ties with GeorgeChidi as Georges attention to this thread was as a result of David Hundeyi who said he should look into this case.

Personally, I'm still searching for light in this case.. like I said before, something isn't adding up.. the story isn't complete

Man, something came up. We'll talk it out on WhatsApp.

Here is my point. He told me everything you are saying. I read others.

The thing is that it didn't really happen how the court wrote it down.

You are a professional and that's why I also respect your views. I am a professional too...and what he says in line with what you said is spot on...when there is a third ear to understand.

It looks like a lie to sb who is only reading the script.

To sb who is examining, it looks like sth is missing somewhere.

That's my point.

I ain't in court.
The reason why I asked Powerhouse5050 to excuse himself, sit back and read, so as not to incriminate himself.
Emotions have proven to have led to injustice in several circumstances.
Play with them, and stir the still waters to make a good catch.
At this point, I have to state that I'm indifferent about whose ox is gored, if and only if justice shall prevail.
I don't trust nobody on SM.
I still believe Mr Bah is still withholding crucial information that will give light to this blurry case.
So many questions have been left unattended to by him.
Maybe you can assist us.
Thank you for maintaining a balanced attitude and approach.

This is not rocket science, a smart person would have just lined up the OP and the other two Africans living in the building, for the innocent victim to identify. There ought to have been no need to line up 6-8 Black men.

What's does being a virgin has to do with the case? So if she was not a virgin, she deserved to be raped and sodomized abi? So even if Mr Bah raped and sodomized her, he should be acquitted because she was not a virgin?

Very sick question.

Thanks for the insights. The victim knows the culprit and her testimony was key to the case. People should evaluate the facts of every case. There are always 3 sides to a coin, the head, the tail, and the edge.

I wonder why some folks only want to examine the OP's side of the story?
