Please I want advice and guidance.
I am a first timer and EDD Is December. I have been worried lately because I am going to have this baby with just myself and my husband. No elder or woman to assist me. Please who have been in that situation and how was it like?
What should I expect ?

I had this issue growing up. I remembered my mum took me to a dentist and have the four teeth in front removed. And the new ones repositioned itself overtime and fit in perfectly.

You don't have to worry. Go and remove them.

Please see a doctor immediately . Who even started her on family planning without doing a pregnancy test?

Before any family planning, pregnancy test is first done. Which clinic does such?She should go to the hospital as soon as possible.

currently in same situation. I’m all alone in my state/city, mom is late, hubby is not in Nigeria, my sister is married abroad. Except my mom Inlaw who recently traveled for omugwo and have refused to come back. I’m basically all alone. Don’t worry be strong

As for other Mummies with time, I'd advise you read this book, Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Miaze. Read it and digest the scriptures with it, I saw God's hands clear in my labour journey and could apply these principles I got from the book.

I would say try and get any help around you can find be it from your religious centre (church or mosque), friends and even neighbours at least in the first few weeks of having a baby, even if it is paid help try and get someone. It can be overwhelming that first few weeks of having a baby especially since you are a FTM, but if you are not still able to get anyone, make sure your hospital puts you and your hubby through practical lessons on how to care for a new born and you will just take one day at a time

Don't worry you will be fine, i am a first time mum too, but i helped my older sisters in the past with omugwo during their time, back &carry baby, do laundry, clean the house, cook and run errands it was a huge relief for them i tell you especially since their husbands had to work

Your child has retained primary teeth while the permanent teeth are erupting in a wrong position.

Now the normal thing is that baby teeth should fall out while their permanent teeth will replace them but in a case where you have both sets of teeth, it is always advisable to take out the retained primary teeth, and doing it early too.

If you leave them, they will/may fall out eventually but then the teeth may already have a bad arrangement and you won't be happy with that either, especially knowing there was something you could have done to avoid it.

Now, I understand your concern as a parent but I can assure you that teeth extractions are painless.

Local anesthetic drugs will be injected around the teeth, yes the injection will sting a bit but they work very fast and the area is usually numb within seconds.

Your child will be given painkillers after the procedure, please take them immediately after the procedure and then as prescribed so there is no pain after the procedure.

Please read up about the effects of dental crowding and retained primary teeth to have a better understanding of what you are dealing with.

Once they are gone, the constant presence of the tongue on the back of the wrongly positioned teeth will move the permanent at the back forward and into their proper position.

I have attended to a child that the teeth were well arranged after barely two weeks of taking the retained primary ones.

The earlier the better, remember.

you are right, birth control is normally done during the last day of menstrual period ( day 4 or 5)

October mothers dropping it hot, this time last year I was still carrying my blue jet, ported from November to October.

LOL, it's like you've not heard the song "food no dey, water no dey".. As much as eating is good, this particular type is not good o jaree. How do I cope at work? Lol
my colleagues are now complaining that I'm getting fat (still in first tri oo) by the time the journey enters 3rd, only God knows who will be bigger between myself and Yokozuna.. Even my face is getting darker unlike the other pregnancy I was getting fairer and finer.. All these ones no even do me reach the hunger that is doing "soro soke" for me.
